Jesus Heals a Paralytic

And he entered into a ship, and passed over, and came into his own city.

And, behold, they brought to him a man sick of the palsy, lying on a bed: and Jesus seeing their faith said unto the sick of the palsy; Son, be of good cheer; thy sins be forgiven thee.

И принесли к Нему паралитика, лежавшего на постели. Когда Иисус увидел доказательство их веры, то сказал паралитику: "Будь счастлив, сын Мой, твои грехи прощены".

And, behold, certain of the scribes said within themselves, This man blasphemeth.

И тогда некоторые из учителей закона стали говорить друг другу: "Этот человек Своими речами оскорбляет Бога!"

And Jesus knowing their thoughts said, Wherefore think ye evil in your hearts?

Иисус знал, о чём они думают, и поэтому сказал им: "Почему в ваших сердцах недобрые мысли?

For whether is easier, to say, Thy sins be forgiven thee; or to say, Arise, and walk?

Что легче сказать: "Твои грехи прощены" или же: "Встань и иди"?

But that ye may know that the Son of man hath power on earth to forgive sins, (then saith he to the sick of the palsy,) Arise, take up thy bed, and go unto thine house.

Но Я покажу вам, что Сын Человеческий имеет власть прощать грехи на земле". И тогда Иисус сказал паралитику: "Вставай, возьми свою постель и иди домой".

And he arose, and departed to his house.

Тот встал и пошёл домой.

But when the multitudes saw it, they marvelled, and glorified God, which had given such power unto men.

Когда толпы народа увидели это, они преисполнились страха и возблагодарили Бога за то, что Он дарует людям такую силу.

Jesus Calls Matthew

And as Jesus passed forth from thence, he saw a man, named Matthew, sitting at the receipt of custom: and he saith unto him, Follow me. And he arose, and followed him.

Когда Иисус уходил оттуда, Он увидел человека по имени Матфей, сидевшего в будке сборщика налогов. И сказал ему: "Следуй за Мной". Матфей встал и пошёл за Ним.

And it came to pass, as Jesus sat at meat in the house, behold, many publicans and sinners came and sat down with him and his disciples.

И случилось, что когда Он ел в доме у Матфея, то многие сборщики налогов и грешники пришли и стали есть вместе с Иисусом и Его учениками.

And when the Pharisees saw it, they said unto his disciples, Why eateth your Master with publicans and sinners?

Когда фарисеи увидели это, то стали спрашивать у Его учеников: "Почему ваш Учитель ест вместе со сборщиками налогов и грешниками?"

But when Jesus heard that, he said unto them, They that be whole need not a physician, but they that are sick.

Услышав это, Иисус сказал: "Не здоровым нужен врач, а больным.

But go ye and learn what that meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice: for I am not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.

Пойдите и узнайте, что значат слова Писания: "Милости хочу, а не жертвы". Я пришёл призвать не благочестивых, а грешников".

Jesus Questioned about Fasting

Then came to him the disciples of John, saying, Why do we and the Pharisees fast oft, but thy disciples fast not?

И тогда ученики Иоанна подошли к Иисусу и спросили: "Почему мы с фарисеями часто постимся, а Твои ученики не постятся вовсе?"

15

And Jesus said unto them, Can the children of the bridechamber mourn, as long as the bridegroom is with them? but the days will come, when the bridegroom shall be taken from them, and then shall they fast.

И сказал им Иисус: "Разве станут друзья жениха на свадьбе печалиться, пока он ещё среди них? Но придёт день, когда жениха уведут от них, вот тогда они и будут печалиться и поститься.

16

The Patches and Wineskins

No man putteth a piece of new cloth unto an old garment, for that which is put in to fill it up taketh from the garment, and the rent is made worse.

Никто не нашивает заплату из новой ткани на старую одежду, ибо заплата сядет и стянет одежду, и дыра станет ещё больше.

17

Neither do men put new wine into old bottles: else the bottles break, and the wine runneth out, and the bottles perish: but they put new wine into new bottles, and both are preserved.

И не наливают молодое вино в старые мехи: иначе старые мехи лопнут, вино выльется, и мехи тоже будут погублены. Наоборот, молодое вино наливают в новые мехи, и тогда целы будут и вино, и мехи".

The Healing Touch of Jesus

While he spake these things unto them, behold, there came a certain ruler, and worshipped him, saying, My daughter is even now dead: but come and lay thy hand upon her, and she shall live.

Пока Он всё это им говорил, к Нему подошёл глава синагоги, опустился перед Ним на колени и сказал: "Моя дочь только что умерла, но приди, возложи на неё руки,

And Jesus arose, and followed him, and so did his disciples.

19

и она воскреснет". Иисус встал и пошёл за ним вместе с учениками Своими.

20

And, behold, a woman, which was diseased with an issue of blood twelve years, came behind him, and touched the hem of his garment:

Там была женщина, двенадцать лет страдавшая сильными кровотечениями. Она подошла к Нему сзади и коснулась полы Его одежды.

For she said within herself, If I may but touch his garment, I shall be whole.

21

Она сделала это, ибо всё время говорила себе: "Если бы мне хоть одежды Его коснуться, я бы исцелилась".

22

But Jesus turned him about, and when he saw her, he said, Daughter, be of good comfort; thy faith hath made thee whole. And the woman was made whole from that hour.

22

Иисус обернулся, увидел её и сказал: "Будь счастлива, дочь Моя! Твоя вера исцелила тебя!" И женщина исцелилась в тот же миг.

23

And when Jesus came into the ruler's house, and saw the minstrels and the people making a noise,

Когда Иисус пришёл в дом к главе синагоги, то увидел там флейтистов и народ в смятении,

24

He said unto them, Give place: for the maid is not dead, but sleepeth. And they laughed him to scorn.

24

и сказал Он: "Уходите! Девочка не умерла, она просто спит!" Но они стали над Ним смеяться.

25

But when the people were put forth, he went in, and took her by the hand, and the maid arose.

25

Когда всех прогнали из дома, Иисус вошёл в комнату девочки, взял её за руку, и она тотчас же встала.

And the fame hereof went abroad into all that land.

Слух об этом разнёсся по всей округе.

Jesus Heals Two Blind Men

And when Jesus departed thence, two blind men followed him, crying, and saying, Thou Son of David, have mercy on us.

27

Когда Иисус уходил оттуда, за Ним следовали два слепца. Они то и дело восклицали: "Смилуйся над нами, Сын Давидов!"

28

And when he was come into the house, the blind men came to him: and Jesus saith unto them, Believe ye that I am able to do this? They said unto him, Yea, Lord.

28

Когда Иисус вошёл в дом, слепцы приблизились к Нему, и Он сказал им: "Верите в то, что могу сделать вас снова зрячими?" Они ответили: "Да, Господи".

29

Then touched he their eyes, saying, According to your faith be it unto you.

29

Тогда Он коснулся их глаз и сказал: "Пусть же случится с вами то, во что верите".

30

And their eyes were opened; and Jesus straitly charged them, saying, See that no man know it.

30

И зрение вернулось к ним. Иисус же наказал им со всей строгостью: "Пусть никто об этом не знает".

31

But they, when they were departed, spread abroad his fame in all that country.

31

Но они ушли и разнесли слух об Иисусе по всей округе.

Jesus Heals a Mute Man

As they went out, behold, they brought to him a dumb man possessed with a devil.

Когда они уходили, к Иисусу привели человека, лишённого дара речи, ибо он был одержим бесами.

33

And when the devil was cast out, the dumb spake: and the multitudes marvelled, saying, It was never so seen in Israel.

33

Как только Иисус изгнал бесов, к одержимому вернулся дар речи. Народ дивился и говорил: "Никогда ничего подобного не видано было в Израиле".

But the Pharisees said, He casteth out devils through the prince of the devils.

34

А фарисеи говорили: "Он изгоняет бесов властью князя бесовского".

35

The Sheep and the Harvest

And Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every sickness and every disease among the people.

35

Иисус же ходил по городам и селениям. Он учил в синагогах, провозглашая благую весть о Царстве и исцелял всякие недуги.

36

But when he saw the multitudes, he was moved with compassion on them, because they fainted, and were scattered abroad, as sheep having no shepherd.

Видя толпы народа, Он проникался к ним жалостью, ибо люди были измучены и беспомощны, подобно овцам без пастуха.

37

Then saith he unto his disciples, The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few;

37

И сказал Он Своим ученикам: "Жатва предстоит великая, но мало работников.

38

Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest.

38

Так молите же Господина этой жатвы, чтобы послал Он больше работников на помощь".
