Jesus the True Vine
I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman.
I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman.
Я є справжня Виноградна Лоза, а Мій Отець — Виноградар.
Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit.
Усяку галузку в Мені, яка не приносить плоду, Він відтинає, а всяку, яка родить плід, очищає, щоб рясніше родила.
Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you.
Ви вже чисті через слово, яке Я вам сказав.
Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me.
Перебувайте в Мені, а Я — у вас. Як галузка не може приносити плоду сама по собі, якщо не буде на виноградній лозі, так і ви, якщо не будете перебувати в Мені.
I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.
Я є Виноградна Лоза, ви — галузки. Хто перебуває в Мені, а Я в ньому, той приносить рясний урожай, бо без Мене не можете робити нічого.
If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned.
Хто в Мені не перебуває, буде відкинений геть, мов та гілка, і всохне; їх збирають і кидають у вогонь, і вони згорають.
If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.
Якщо ж будете перебувати в Мені, а Мої слова перебуватимуть у вас, то чого б тільки забажали, просіть — і станеться вам.
Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples.
У цьому прославлений Мій Отець, щоб ви приносили багатий урожай і стали Моїми учнями.
As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you: continue ye in my love.
Як полюбив Мене Отець, так і Я полюбив вас; тож перебувайте в Моїй любові.
If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love.
Якщо будете зберігати Мої заповіді, то перебуватимете в любові Моїй, так само, як Я, зберігши заповіді Мого Отця, перебуваю в Його любові.
These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full.
Це Я сказав вам, щоб Моя радість перебувала у вас і щоб ваша радість була повною.
This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you.
Ось Моя заповідь: щоб ви любили один одного так, як Я вас полюбив.
Greater Love has No One than This
Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.
Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.
Більшої любові ніхто не має за ту, коли хто душу свою кладе за друзів своїх.
Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you.
Ви — друзі Мої, якщо чините те, що Я заповідаю вам.
Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you.
Не називаю вас більше рабами, бо раб не знає, що робить його пан; вас же назвав Я друзями, оскільки сказав вам усе, що почув від Мого Отця.
Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.
Не ви Мене вибрали, але Я вибрав вас і настановив вас, щоб ви йшли та плід приносили, і щоби плід ваш залишався, аби те, що тільки попросите від Отця в Моє Ім’я, Він вам дав.
These things I command you, that ye love one another.
Заповідаю вам, щоб ви любили один одного.
The Hatred of the World
If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you.
If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you.
Якщо світ вас ненавидить, знайте, що Мене він раніше від вас зненавидів.
If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.
Коли б ви були від світу, то світ своє любив би; ви ж не від світу, а Я вибрав вас зі світу, тому світ і ненавидить вас.
Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also.
Згадуйте слова, які Я сказав вам: Раб не більший за свого пана. Якщо Мене переслідували, то й вас будуть переслідувати; якщо Моє слово зберегли, то й ваше зберігатимуть.
But all these things will they do unto you for my name's sake, because they know not him that sent me.
Але це все будуть робити вам задля Мого Імені, бо ж не знають Того, Хто Мене послав.
If I had not come and spoken unto them, they had not had sin: but now they have no cloke for their sin.
Якби Я не прийшов і не говорив їм, то вони не мали б гріха, а тепер не мають уже виправдання за свій гріх.
If I had not done among them the works which none other man did, they had not had sin: but now have they both seen and hated both me and my Father.
Якби Я серед них не зробив тих діл, яких ніхто інший не зробив, то гріха не мали б, а тепер і побачили, і зненавиділи Мене й Мого Отця.
But this cometh to pass, that the word might be fulfilled that is written in their law, They hated me without a cause.
Але це сталося, щоби збулося слово, написане в їхньому Законі: Зненавиділи Мене безпідставно.
But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me:
Коли [ж] прийде Утішитель, Якого Я вам пошлю від Отця, Дух Істини, Який походить від Отця, то Він засвідчить про Мене.
