For if they which are of the law be heirs, faith is made void, and the promise made of none effect:

Если утверждающиеся на законе суть наследники, то тщетна вера, бездейственно обетование;

бо коли спадкоємці ті, що в законі, то віра не має сили й обітниця не має вартости:

Если бы наследниками Авраама были те, кто возлагает свои надежды на исполнение Закона, то вера была бы напрасной и само обещание было бы бездейственно.

Бо якщо ті, хто від Закону, — спадкоємці, тоді віра втрачає силу, а обітниця скасовується.
