Bear One Another's Burdens

Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which are spiritual, restore such an one in the spirit of meekness; considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted.

Братия! если и впадёт человек в какое согрешение, вы, духовные, исправляйте такового в духе кротости, наблюдая каждый за собою, чтобы не быть искушённым.

Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ.

Носите бремена друг друга, и таким образом исполните закон Христов.

For if a man think himself to be something, when he is nothing, he deceiveth himself.

Ибо кто почитает себя чем-нибудь, будучи ничто, тот обольщает сам себя.

But let every man prove his own work, and then shall he have rejoicing in himself alone, and not in another.

Каждый да испытывает своё дело, и тогда будет иметь похвалу только в себе, а не в другом,

For every man shall bear his own burden.

ибо каждый понесёт своё бремя.

Let him that is taught in the word communicate unto him that teacheth in all good things.

Наставляемый словом, делись всяким добром с наставляющим.

Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.

Не обманывайтесь: Бог поругаем не бывает. Что посеет человек, то и пожнёт:

For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.

сеющий в плоть свою от плоти пожнёт тление, а сеющий в дух от духа пожнёт жизнь вечную.

And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.

Делая добро, да не унываем, ибо в своё время пожнём, если не ослабеем.

As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith.

Итак, доколе есть время, будем делать добро всем, а наипаче своим по вере.

Paul's Final Warning

Ye see how large a letter I have written unto you with mine own hand.

Видите, как много написал я вам своею рукою.

As many as desire to make a fair shew in the flesh, they constrain you to be circumcised; only lest they should suffer persecution for the cross of Christ.

Желающие хвалиться по плоти принуждают вас обрезываться только для того, чтобы не быть гонимыми за крест Христов,

For neither they themselves who are circumcised keep the law; but desire to have you circumcised, that they may glory in your flesh.

ибо и сами обрезывающиеся не соблюдают закона, но хотят, чтобы вы обрезывались, дабы похвалиться в вашей плоти.

But God forbid that I should glory, save in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world is crucified unto me, and I unto the world.

А я не желаю хвалиться, разве только крестом Господа нашего Иисуса Христа, которым для меня мир распят, и я для мира.

15

For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision, but a new creature.

Ибо во Христе Иисусе ничего не значит ни обрезание, ни необрезание, а новая тварь.

Benediction

And as many as walk according to this rule, peace be on them, and mercy, and upon the Israel of God.

Тем, которые поступают по сему правилу, мир им и милость, и Израилю Божию.

From henceforth let no man trouble me: for I bear in my body the marks of the Lord Jesus.

Впрочем, никто не отягощай меня, ибо я ношу язвы Господа Иисуса на теле моём.

Brethren, the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit. Amen.
