And Joshua made them that day hewers of wood and drawers of water for the congregation, and for the altar of the LORD, even unto this day, in the place which he should choose.

В тот день он сделал гаваонитян дровосеками и водоносами для общества и для жертвенника Господа на том месте, какое бы Господь ни избирал. Они делают это и до сих пор.

І поставив їх Ісус у той день лісорубами, а також носити воду для всієї громади і для Божого жертовника. Через це стали ті, хто живе в Ґаваоні, лісорубами і носіями води для Божого жертовника до сьогоднішнього дня, — на місці, яке Господь вибере.
