And it shall come to pass, that every one that is left in thine house shall come and crouch to him for a piece of silver and a morsel of bread, and shall say, Put me, I pray thee, into one of the priests' offices, that I may eat a piece of bread.

‘Everyone who is left in your house will come and bow down to him for a piece of silver or a loaf of bread and say, “Please assign me to one of the priest’s offices so that I may eat a piece of bread.”’” -
Then all of your surviving family will bow before him, begging for money and food. ‘Please,’ they will say, ‘give us jobs among the priests so we will have enough to eat.’”

и всякий, оставшийся из дома твоего, придёт кланяться ему из-за геры серебра и куска хлеба и скажет: «причисли меня к какой-либо левитской должности, чтоб иметь пропитание».

І прийде час, що хто б не зоставсь із твого дому, прийде й кинеться йому в ноги за дрібний гріш і за буханець хліба й скаже: Прийми мене, будь ласкав, на якубудь священичу роботу, щоб мати хоч кавалок хліба.»

І буде колись так, що, хто б нї зоставсь із потомків твоїх, приходити і припадати ме перед ним, випрошуючи гроша срібного і скибочку хлїба, та казати ме: Прийми мене на яку послугу в твойму левітському урядованню, щоб мати чим прохарчуватись. -
І станеться, — кожен, хто полишиться в домі твоїм, при́йде вклонятися йому за аґору срібла та за бухане́ць хліба, і скаже: Долучи мене до одного з священицтв, щоб їсти кавалок хліба“.

Тогда всякий оставшийся из твоего дома придет, склонится перед ним за геру22 серебра и корку хлеба и взмолится: „Дай мне какую-нибудь священническую должность, чтобы у меня было пропитание“».

І буде, що хто залишиться у твоєму домі, прийде поклонитися йому за невелику кількість [5] срібла, кажучи: Постав мене на одну з твоїх служб, щоб їсти хліб.
