“So my honesty will answer for me later, when you come concerning my wages. Every one that is not speckled and spotted among the goats and black among the lambs, if found with me, will be considered stolen.”

So shall my righteousness answer for me in time to come, when it shall come for my hire before thy face: every one that is not speckled and spotted among the goats, and brown among the sheep, that shall be counted stolen with me.

So my righteousness will answer for me in time to come, when the subject of my wages comes before you: every one that is not speckled and spotted among the goats, and brown among the lambs, will be considered stolen, if it is with me.”

И будет говорить за меня пред тобою справедливость моя в следующее время, когда придёшь посмотреть награду мою. Всякая из коз не с крапинами и не с пятнами, и из овец не чёрная, краденое это у меня.

І справедливість моя посвідчить за мене в завтрішнім дні, коли при́йдеш гля́нути на заплату мою від тебе. Усе, що воно не крапчасте й не переполасе з-поміж кіз і не чорне з-поміж овець, — крадене воно в мене“.

Честность моя будет мне порукой в будущем, когда бы ты ни решил проверить плату, отданную мне. Если найдется у меня не крапчатый и не пятнистый козел или не темный ягненок, то они будут считаться крадеными.

І завтра свідчитиме про мене моя праведність, бо моя платня буде перед тобою; усе, що не крапчасте або чисто біле серед кіз та рябе серед овець, — те мною вкрадене.
