Now David’s heart troubled him after he had numbered the people. So David said to the LORD, “I have sinned greatly in what I have done. But now, O LORD, please take away the iniquity of Your servant, for I have acted very foolishly.”

And David’s heart condemned him after he had numbered the people. So David said to the Lord, “I have sinned greatly in what I have done; but now, I pray, O Lord, take away the iniquity of Your servant, for I have done very foolishly.” -

И вздрогнуло сердце Давидово после того, как он сосчитал народ. И сказал Давид Господу: тяжко согрешил я, поступив так; и ныне молю Тебя, Господи, прости грех раба Твоего, ибо крайне неразумно поступил я.

І збенте́жилося Давидове серце, як перелі́чив він народ. І сказав Давид до Господа: „Я дуже згрішив, що зробив це! А тепер, Господи, відсунь же провину Свого́ раба, бо я дуже немудро вчинив!“

— Сделав это, я совершил великий грех. Теперь, о Господи, я молю Тебя, сними вину с Твоего слуги! Я поступил очень безрассудно. -
І серце Давида вразило його після того, як перелічив народ, і промовив Давид до Господа: Згрішив я сильно тим, що я вчинив! Тепер, Господи, відніми беззаконня Твого раба, бо я дуже нерозумно вчинив!
