It came about when all Israel heard that Jeroboam had returned, that they sent and called him to the assembly and made him king over all Israel. None but the tribe of Judah followed the house of David.

And it came to pass, when all Israel heard that Jeroboam was come again, that they sent and called him unto the congregation, and made him king over all Israel: there was none that followed the house of David, but the tribe of Judah only. -

І сталося, як увесь Ізраїль почув, що вернувся Єровоа́м, то послали й покликали його на збори, та й настанови́ли його царем над усім Ізраїлем. За домом Давида не було ніко́го, окрім одного Юдиного пле́мени.

Когда израильтяне услышали, что Иеровоам возвратился, они послали за ним, позвали его в собрание и сделали царем над всем Израилем. Лишь род Иуды сохранил верность дому Давида.

І сталося, коли весь Ізраїль почув, що Єровоам повернувся з Єгипту, то вони послали й покликали його на збори, і настановили його царем над Ізраїлем. А за домом Давида не було нікого іншого, за винятком скіпетра Юди і Веніаміна.
