The king also said to Shimei, “You know all the evil which you acknowledge in your heart, which you did to my father David; therefore the LORD shall return your evil on your own head.

The king said moreover to Shimei, Thou knowest all the wickedness which thine heart is privy to, that thou didst to David my father: therefore the LORD shall return thy wickedness upon thine own head;

The king said moreover to Shimei, “You know, as your heart acknowledges, all the wickedness that you did to my father David; therefore the Lord will return your wickedness on your own head.

И сказал царь Семею: ты знаешь, и знает сердце твоё всё зло, какое ты сделал отцу моему Давиду; да обратит же Господь злобу твою на голову твою!

Далі сказав цар до Семея: «Сам ти знаєш, та й серце твоє відає все те зло, яке ти заподіяв батькові моєму Давидові. Нехай же Господь оберне твою злість на твою голову.

Еще царь сказал Шимею:
— В сердце своем ты хранишь память обо всем том зле, которое ты сделал моему отцу Давиду. Теперь Господь воздаст тебе за твое злодеяние. -
І промовив цар до Семея: Ти знаєш усе своє зло, яке пізнало твоє серце, що ти вчинив Давидові, моєму батькові! Тож Господь віддав твоє зло на твою голову.
