Then he said to him, “Because you have not listened to the voice of the LORD, behold, as soon as you have departed from me, a lion will kill you.” And as soon as he had departed from him a lion found him and killed him.

Then said he unto him, Because thou hast not obeyed the voice of the LORD, behold, as soon as thou art departed from me, a lion shall slay thee. And as soon as he was departed from him, a lion found him, and slew him.

Then he said to him, “Because you have not obeyed the voice of the Lord, surely, as soon as you depart from me, a lion shall kill you.” And as soon as he left him, a lion found him and killed him.

So the prophet said, “Because you have not obeyed the Lord, as soon as you leave me a lion will kill you.” And after the man went away, a lion found him and killed him. -

Then the prophet told him, “Because you have not obeyed the voice of the LORD, a lion will kill you as soon as you leave me.” And when he had gone, a lion did attack and kill him.

И сказал ему: за то, что ты не слушаешь гласа Господня, убьёт тебя лев, когда пойдёшь от меня. Он пошёл от него, и лев, встретив его, убил его.

Перший сказав до нього: «Що ти не послухав слова Господнього, то як тільки вийдеш від мене, вмертвить тебе лев.» Не встиг той відійти від нього, як наскочив на нього лев і вмертвив його.

І сказав він йому: „За те, що ти не послухався Господнього голосу, то ось ти пі́деш від мене — і вб'є тебе лев!“ І пішов той від нього, і спіткав його лев та й забив.

— Раз ты не послушался Господа, как только ты уйдешь от меня, тебя убьет лев.
И после того как тот человек ушел, лев выскочил ему навстречу и убил его. -
