And the king said to her, “What is the matter with you?” And she answered, “This woman said to me, ‘Give your son that we may eat him today, and we will eat my son tomorrow.’

And the king said unto her, What aileth thee? And she answered, This woman said unto me, Give thy son, that we may eat him to day, and we will eat my son to morrow.

Then the king said to her, “What is troubling you?”
And she answered, “This woman said to me, ‘Give your son, that we may eat him today, and we will eat my son tomorrow.’ -

She answered, “This woman said to me, ‘Give up your son so we may eat him today, and tomorrow we’ll eat my son.’ -

She replied, “This woman said to me: ‘Come on, let’s eat your son today, then we will eat my son tomorrow.’ -

І сказав до неї цар: „Що тобі?“ А та відказала: „Оця жінка сказала мені: Дай свого сина, і ми з'їмо́ його сьогодні, а мого сина з'їмо́ взавтра.

Потом он спросил ее:
— В чем дело?
Она ответила:
— Вот эта женщина сказала мне: «Отдай своего сына, чтобы нам съесть его сегодня, а завтра съедим моего». -
А далі цар запитав її: Що тобі є? А вона промовила: Ця жінка сказала мені: Дай твого сина, сьогодні ми його з’їмо, завтра ж — мого сина, з’їмо і його!
