The sons of Judah were Er, Onan and Shelah; these three were born to him by Bath-shua the Canaanitess. And Er, Judah’s firstborn, was wicked in the sight of the LORD, so He put him to death.

Tamar his daughter-in-law bore him Perez and Zerah. Judah had five sons in all.

Now the sons of Hezron, who were born to him were Jerahmeel, Ram and Chelubai.

Nahshon became the father of Salma, Salma became the father of Boaz,
Від Нахзона народився Салмон, від Салмона народився Бооз;
Boaz became the father of Obed, and Obed became the father of Jesse;
Від Бооза народився Обид, від Обида народився Ессей;
and Jesse became the father of Eliab his firstborn, then Abinadab the second, Shimea the third,
Від Ессея народився його найстарший син Еліав, другий — Аминадаб, третій — Самм,
and their sisters were Zeruiah and Abigail. And the three sons of Zeruiah were Abshai, Joab and Asahel.

Abigail bore Amasa, and the father of Amasa was Jether the Ishmaelite.

Now Caleb the son of Hezron had sons by Azubah his wife, and by Jerioth; and these were her sons: Jesher, Shobab, and Ardon.
Халеб, Есромів син, мав дїтей від Азуви, своєї жінки, й від Еріоти, і це його сини: Есер, Собаб та Ардан.
When Azubah died, Caleb married Ephrath, who bore him Hur.
І померла Азува; й взяв собі Халеб (за жінку) Ефрату, й вона породила йому Гура.
Hur became the father of Uri, and Uri became the father of Bezalel.
Від Гура народився Урія, від Урії народився Веселіїл.
Afterward Hezron went in to the daughter of Machir the father of Gilead, whom he married when he was sixty years old; and she bore him Segub.
Потім Есрон ввійшов до дочки Махира, Галаадового батька, і взяв її, маючи шістьдесять років, і вона породила йому Сегуба.
Segub became the father of Jair, who had twenty-three cities in the land of Gilead.

But Geshur and Aram took the towns of Jair from them, with Kenath and its villages, even sixty cities. All these were the sons of Machir, the father of Gilead.

After the death of Hezron in Caleb-ephrathah, Abijah, Hezron’s wife, bore him Ashhur the father of Tekoa.

Now the sons of Jerahmeel the firstborn of Hezron were Ram the firstborn, then Bunah, Oren, Ozem and Ahijah.

Jerahmeel had another wife, whose name was Atarah; she was the mother of Onam.

The sons of Ram, the firstborn of Jerahmeel, were Maaz, Jamin and Eker.
Сини Рама, найстаршого Ерахмеїлового сина, були: Мааз, Ямин та Екер.
The sons of Onam were Shammai and Jada. And the sons of Shammai were Nadab and Abishur.
В Онама ж були сини: Шаммай та Яда. Шаммаєві ж сини: Надаб та Авишур.
The name of Abishur’s wife was Abihail, and she bore him Ahban and Molid.
Жінка Авишурова на ймення Авихаїла, й вона породила йому Ахбана та Молида.
The sons of Nadab were Seled and Appaim, and Seled died without sons.
Сини Надабові: Селед та Афаїм. І помер Селед бездїтним.
The son of Appaim was Ishi. And the son of Ishi was Sheshan. And the son of Sheshan was Ahlai.
Син Афаїмів Ішій. Син Ішіїн: Шешан. Син Шешанів: Ахлай.
The sons of Jada the brother of Shammai were Jether and Jonathan, and Jether died without sons.
Сини в Яди, Шаммаєвого брата: Етер та Йонатан. Етер помер бездїтним.
The sons of Jonathan were Peleth and Zaza. These were the sons of Jerahmeel.
Сини Йонатанові: Пелет і Заза. Це сини Ерахмеїлові.
Now Sheshan had no sons, only daughters. And Sheshan had an Egyptian servant whose name was Jarha.
В Шешана не було синів, а самі дочки. Був же в Шешана невольник, Египтянин, на ймя Ярха;
Sheshan gave his daughter to Jarha his servant in marriage, and she bore him Attai.
Шешан дав свою дочку Ярсї (свойму невольникові) за жінку, а вона породила йому Аттая.
Attai became the father of Nathan, and Nathan became the father of Zabad,
Від Аттая народився Натан, від Натана народився Завад;
and Zabad became the father of Ephlal, and Ephlal became the father of Obed,
Від Завада народився Ефлал, від Ефлала народився Овид;
and Obed became the father of Jehu, and Jehu became the father of Azariah,
Від Овида народився Еуй, від Еуя народився Азарія;
and Azariah became the father of Helez, and Helez became the father of Eleasah,
Від Азарії народився Хелез, від Хелеза народився Елеас;
and Eleasah became the father of Sismai, and Sismai became the father of Shallum,
Від Елеаса народився Сисмай, від Сисмая народився Саллум;
and Shallum became the father of Jekamiah, and Jekamiah became the father of Elishama.
Від Саллума народився Екамія, від Екамії народився Елишам.
Now the sons of Caleb, the brother of Jerahmeel, were Mesha his firstborn, who was the father of Ziph; and his son was Mareshah, the father of Hebron.
Сини в Халеба, Ерахмеїлового брата: Меша, найстарший в його, — він батько Зифин, — і сини Мареші, Хевронового батька.
The sons of Hebron were Korah and Tappuah and Rekem and Shema.
Хевронові сини: Корей і Таппуах, та Рекем та Шема;
Shema became the father of Raham, the father of Jorkeam; and Rekem became the father of Shammai.
Від Шема народився Рахам, Йоркеамів батько, а від Рекема народився Шаммай;
The son of Shammai was Maon, and Maon was the father of Bethzur.
Син в Шаммая Маон, а Маон се батько Бет-Зура.
Ephah, Caleb’s concubine, bore Haran, Moza and Gazez; and Haran became the father of Gazez.
А Ефа, Халебова наложниця, породила Харана, Мозу та Газеза. А від Харана народився Газез.
The sons of Jahdai were Regem, Jotham, Geshan, Pelet, Ephah and Shaaph.
Сини Егдаєві: Регем, Йотам, Гешан, Пелет, Ефа та Шааф.
Maacah, Caleb’s concubine, bore Sheber and Tirhanah.
Наложниця Халебова Мааха породила Шевера та Тирхану;
She also bore Shaaph the father of Madmannah, Sheva the father of Machbena and the father of Gibea; and the daughter of Caleb was Achsah.
Вона ж породила й Шаафа, Мадманниного батька; Шеву, батька Махбениного і батька Гивеїного. А дочка Халебова — Ахса.
These were the sons of Caleb.
The sons of Hur, the firstborn of Ephrathah, were Shobal the father of Kiriath-jearim,

Оце сини Халебові: син Гур, перворідень Ефрати; Шовал, батько (князь) Киріят-Ярима;
Salma the father of Bethlehem and Hareph the father of Beth-gader.
Салма, батько (князь) Бетлеєму, Хареф, батько Бетгадера.
Shobal the father of Kiriath-jearim had sons: Haroeh, half of the Manahathites,
У Шовала, батька Киріят-Яриму, були сини: Гарое, Хази, Галменюхот.
and the families of Kiriath-jearim: the Ithrites, the Puthites, the Shumathites and the Mishraites; from these came the Zorathites and the Eshtaolites.
Поколїння Киріят-Яриму: Ітріяни, Футїяни, Шуматани, та Мидраітяни. Від цїх повстали Зоряни та Ештаоляни.
The sons of Salma were Bethlehem and the Netophathites, Atroth-beth-joab and half of the Manahathites, the Zorites.
Сини в Салми: Бетлеємляни та Нетофатяни, вінець Йоабового дому, та половина Менухотян — Зоряни,
The families of scribes who lived at Jabez were the Tirathites, the Shimeathites and the Sucathites. Those are the Kenites who came from Hammath, the father of the house of Rechab.
Та поколїння Соферійцїв, що жили в Ябезї, Тирейцї, Шимейцї, Сухайцї: це Кинеяни, що повстали від Хамата, Бетрехавового батька.
