they approached Zerubbabel and the heads of fathers’ households, and said to them, “Let us build with you, for we, like you, seek your God; and we have been sacrificing to Him since the days of Esarhaddon king of Assyria, who brought us up here.”

Then they came to Zerubbabel, and to the chief of the fathers, and said unto them, Let us build with you: for we seek your God, as ye do; and we do sacrifice unto him since the days of Esarhaddon king of Assur, which brought us up hither.

they came to Zerubbabel and the heads of the fathers’ houses, and said to them, “Let us build with you, for we seek your God as you do; and we have sacrificed to Him since the days of Esarhaddon king of Assyria, who brought us here.”

So they approached Zerubbabel and the other leaders and said, “Let us build with you, for we worship your God just as you do. We have sacrificed to him ever since King Esarhaddon of Assyria brought us here.”

то прийшли до Зоровавела й до голів родин та й сказали їм: «І ми хочемо будувати з вами, бо, як ви, так і ми звертаємось до вашого Бога й приносимо йому жертви від часів Асархаддона, асирійського царя, що перевів нас сюди».

— Позвольте нам строить вместе с вами. Ведь мы, как и вы, обращаемся за помощью к вашему Богу и приносим Ему жертвы со времен Асархаддона,15 царя Ассирии, который нас сюда поселил. -
і наблизились до Зоровавеля і до голів родинних ліній, кажучи їм: Будуватимемо з вами, бо, як і ви, ми шукаємо вашого Бога, і ми Йому приносимо жертву від днів Асараддона, царя ассирійців, який нас сюди привів.
