Then Bildad the Shuhite answered,

І заговорив шух'янин Білда́д та й сказав:
“Dominion and awe belong to Him
Who establishes peace in His heights.

„Панува́ння та о́страх — у Нього, Який на висо́тах Своїх чинить мир.
“Is there any number to His troops?
And upon whom does His light not rise?
And upon whom does His light not rise?
Чи ві́йську Його є число? І над ким Його світло не схо́дить?
“How then can a man be just with God?
Or how can he be clean who is born of woman?
Or how can he be clean who is born of woman?
І як може люди́на бути праведною перед Богом, і як може бути чистим, від жінки наро́джений?
“If even the moon has no brightness
And the stars are not pure in His sight,
