King James Bible

  • O LORD, my heart is not proud, nor my eyes haughty;
    Nor do I involve myself in great matters,
    Or in things too difficult for me.
  • I Have Stilled My Soul

    {A Song of degrees of David.} LORD, my heart is not haughty, nor mine eyes lofty: neither do I exercise myself in great matters, or in things too high for me.
  • Surely I have composed and quieted my soul;
    Like a weaned child rests against his mother,
    My soul is like a weaned child within me.
  • Surely I have behaved and quieted myself, as a child that is weaned of his mother: my soul is even as a weaned child.
  • O Israel, hope in the LORD
    From this time forth and forever.
  • Let Israel hope in the LORD from henceforth and for ever.
