    For they have been from of old.
  • Remember, O LORD, your compassion and unfailing love,
    which you have shown from long ages past.

  • Do not remember the rebellious sins of my youth.
    Remember me in the light of your unfailing love,
    for you are merciful, O LORD.
  • Good and upright is the LORD;
    Therefore He instructs sinners in the way.

    forgive my many, many sins.
  • Who is the man who fears the LORD?
    He will instruct him in the way he should choose.

    He will show them the path they should choose.

    He teaches them his covenant.
  • My eyes are continually toward the LORD,
    For He will pluck my feet out of the net.
  • My eyes are always on the LORD,
    for he rescues me from the traps of my enemies.
  • Turn to me and be gracious to me,
    For I am lonely and afflicted.
  • Turn to me and have mercy,
    for I am alone and in deep distress.
  • The troubles of my heart are enlarged;
    Bring me out of my distresses.
  • My problems go from bad to worse.
    Oh, save me from them all!
  • Look upon my affliction and my trouble,
    And forgive all my sins.
  • Feel my pain and see my trouble.
    Forgive all my sins.
  • Look upon my enemies, for they are many,
    And they hate me with violent hatred.
  • See how many enemies I have
    and how viciously they hate me!
  • Guard my soul and deliver me;
    Do not let me be ashamed, for I take refuge in You.
  • Protect me! Rescue my life from them!
    Do not let me be disgraced, for in you I take refuge.
  • Let integrity and uprightness preserve me,
    For I wait for You.
