To You, O LORD, I lift up my soul.

Давидова. Д о тебе, Господи, підношу душу мою.

O my God, in You I trust,
Do not let me be ashamed;
Do not let my enemies exult over me.

Боже мій, на тебе я вповаю, не дай менї осоромитись, не допусти, щоб вороги мої втїшались побідою надо мною!

3

Indeed, none of those who wait for You will be ashamed;
Those who deal treacherously without cause will be ashamed.

І всї, що покладаються на тебе, не осоромляться; будуть же осоромлені, що зневіряються без причини.

4

Make me know Your ways, O LORD;
Teach me Your paths.

Господи, вкажи менї дороги твої, і навчи, де стежки твої!

5

Lead me in Your truth and teach me,
For You are the God of my salvation;
For You I wait all the day.

Веди мене в правдї твоїй, і навчи; ти бо єси Бог спасення мого; на тебе цїлий день я вповаю.

6

Remember, O LORD, Your compassion and Your lovingkindnesses,
For they have been from of old.

Згадай про милосердє твоє, Господи, і про доброту твою, що являєш од віку.

7

Do not remember the sins of my youth or my transgressions;
According to Your lovingkindness remember me,
For Your goodness’ sake, O LORD.

Не згадуй про гріхи молодостї моєї, нї про переступи мої; згадай мене по благодатї твоїй, задля доброти твоєї, Господи.

8

Good and upright is the LORD;
Therefore He instructs sinners in the way.

Господь благий і правий, тому навчає грішника, де дорога спасення.

9

He leads the humble in justice,
And He teaches the humble His way.

9

Він веде покірних до правди, і вказує смирному дорогу свою.

10

All the paths of the LORD are lovingkindness and truth
To those who keep His covenant and His testimonies.

Всї стежки Господнї — милість і правда для тих, що бережуть завіт його і сьвідчення його.

11

For Your name’s sake, O LORD,
Pardon my iniquity, for it is great.

Задля імя твого, Господи, прости вину мою; бо вона велика.

12

Who is the man who fears the LORD?
He will instruct him in the way he should choose.

Хто такий чоловік, що боїться Господа? Вкаже він дорогу йому, котру вибрати має.

13

His soul will abide in prosperity,
And his descendants will inherit the land.

Душа його буде в щастї, і рід його наслїдить землю.

14

The secret of the LORD is for those who fear Him,
And He will make them know His covenant.

Довірність Господня для тих, що його бояться, а заповіт його на те, щоб звістити їм.

15

My eyes are continually toward the LORD,
For He will pluck my feet out of the net.

15

Очі мої все дивляться на Господа, він бо виведе із сїтки ноги мої.

16

Turn to me and be gracious to me,
For I am lonely and afflicted.

Зглянься на мене, і помилуй! Бо я одинокий і бідний.

17

The troubles of my heart are enlarged;
Bring me out of my distresses.

Збільшився пострах у серцї моїм, виведи мене із тїсноти.

18

Look upon my affliction and my trouble,
And forgive all my sins.

Споглянь на горе моє, і на труди мої, і прости всї гріхи мої!

19

Look upon my enemies, for they are many,
And they hate me with violent hatred.

19

Глянь на ворогів моїх, бо їх багацько, і лютою ненавистю палають до мене!

20

Guard my soul and deliver me;
Do not let me be ashamed, for I take refuge in You.

20

Сохрани душу мою, і спаси мене! Не допусти сорому на мене, бо я вповаю на тебе!

21

Let integrity and uprightness preserve me,
For I wait for You.

21

Чистота і правота нехай стоять на сторожі коло мене! Бо я надїюсь на тебе.

22

Redeem Israel, O God,
Out of all his troubles.

22

Спаси, о Боже, Ізраїля з усякої нужди його!
