For the LORD had said to Moses, “Say to the sons of Israel, ‘You are an obstinate people; should I go up in your midst for one moment, I would destroy you. Now therefore, put off your ornaments from you, that I may know what I shall do with you.’”

For the LORD had said unto Moses, Say unto the children of Israel, Ye are a stiffnecked people: I will come up into the midst of thee in a moment, and consume thee: therefore now put off thy ornaments from thee, that I may know what to do unto thee.

For the Lord had said to Moses, “Tell the Israelites, ‘You are a stiff-necked people. If I were to go with you even for a moment, I might destroy you. Now take off your ornaments and I will decide what to do with you.’ ” -

For the Lord had said to Moses, “Say to the people of Israel, ‘You are a stiff-necked people; if for a single moment I should go up among you, I would consume you. So now take off your ornaments, that I may know what to do with you.’” -
For the LORD had told Moses to tell them, “You are a stubborn and rebellious people. If I were to travel with you for even a moment, I would destroy you. Remove your jewelry and fine clothes while I decide what to do with you.”

Now Jehovah had said to Moses, Say unto the children of Israel, Ye are a stiff-necked people: in one moment I will come up into the midst of thee and will consume thee. And now put off thine ornaments from thee, and I will know what I will do unto thee. -
Ибо Господь сказал Моисею: скажи сынам Израилевым: вы народ жестоковыйный; если Я пойду среди вас, то в одну минуту истреблю вас; итак, снимите с себя украшения свои; Я посмотрю, что Мне делать с вами.

Тоді Господь сказав до Мойсея: «Скажи синам Ізраїля: Ви народ твердолобий; коли б я йшов одну лиш хвилю проміж вами, винищив би вас. Тож познімайте ваші прикраси з себе, а я вже знаю, що чинитиму з вами.»

Рече бо Господь Мойсейові: Промов до синів Ізрайлевих: Ви народ запеклий; коли б ійшов я одну тілько минуту проміж вами, дак вигубив би вас. Оце ж поздіймайте свої окраси з себе, я ж знаю, що чинити му з вами. -
Бо промовив Господь до Мойсея: „Скажи Ізраїлевим синам: Ви народ твердошиїй, — якщо одну хвилину піду́ серед тебе, то ви́гублю тебе! Тож тепер здійми оздобу свою з себе, — Я знатиму, що вчиню́ тобі“.

Ведь Господь сказал Моисею:
— Скажи израильтянам: «Вы — упрямый народ. Даже если бы Я прошел с вами хоть немного, Я погубил бы вас. Снимите же украшения, а Я решу, что делать с вами». -
Тож Господь сказав Ізраїльським синам: Ви — народ упертий. Глядіть, аби Я не навів на вас іншої пошесті й не винищив вас! А тепер зніміть ваш пишний одяг і прикраси, і Я покажу тобі, народе, що вчиню з тобою.
