Furthermore, men are afraid of a high place and of terrors on the road; the almond tree blossoms, the grasshopper drags himself along, and the caperberry is ineffective. For man goes to his eternal home while mourners go about in the street.

Also when they shall be afraid of that which is high, and fears shall be in the way, and the almond tree shall flourish, and the grasshopper shall be a burden, and desire shall fail: because man goeth to his long home, and the mourners go about the streets:

Also they are afraid of height,
And of terrors in the way;
When the almond tree blossoms,
The grasshopper is a burden,
And desire fails.
For man goes to his eternal home,
And the mourners go about the streets. -

and of dangers in the streets;
when the almond tree blossoms
and the grasshopper drags itself along
and desire no longer is stirred.
Then people go to their eternal home
and mourners go about the streets. -
Remember him before you become fearful of falling and worry about danger in the streets; before your hair turns white like an almond tree in bloom, and you drag along without energy like a dying grasshopper, and the caperberry no longer inspires sexual desire. Remember him before you near the grave, your everlasting home, when the mourners will weep at your funeral.

и высоты будут им страшны, и на дороге ужасы; и зацветёт миндаль, и отяжелеет кузнечик, и рассыплется каперс. Ибо отходит человек в вечный дом свой, и готовы окружить его по улице плакальщицы; —

коли здійматись угору буде страшно, ба й на дорогу буде лячно вийти; і дерево цвістиме мигдалеве, і сарана стане тяжкою, і каперс висиплеться, — бо людина відходить до своєї вічної домівки, і плакальники вже по вулиці вештаються;

І висоти стануть їм страшні, а на дорозї будуть боятись; і зацьвіте дерево мігдалове, й ковалик отяжіє, та й кріп розсиплесь; бо ось відходить чоловік у свою вічну домівку, а плакальники готові вже, провожати його улицею; — -
і будуть боятись високого місця, і жа́хи в дорозі їм бу́дуть, і мигда́ль зацвіте, й обтяжі́є коби́лка, і загине бажа́ння, бо люди́на відхо́дить до вічного дому свого́, а по вулиці будуть ходити довко́ла голосі́льники,

когда люди будут бояться высоты
и опасностей на улице;
когда расцветет миндаль,
и отяжелеет кузнечик,
и осыплется каперс.21
Ведь человек отправляется в свой вечный дом,
и плакальщицы проходят по улицам. -
З висоти побачать, і жахи на дорозі. І зацвіте мигдаль, і розтовстіє сарана, і розсіється кипарис, бо людина пішла до свого вічного дому, і оточили торговицю ті, що оплакують.
