А що́ ви чини́тимете в день наві́щення, і на́глої згу́би, що при́йде здале́ка, — до ко́го втече́те за по́міччю, і де́ позоста́вите славу свою?

Нічого́ не ли́шиться — тільки зігну́тися між полоне́ними, і попа́дати між позаби́ваними. При цьо́му всьому не відверну́всь Його гнів, і ви́тягнена ще рука Його!

Та не так він собі розуміє, а серце його не так ми́слить, бо в серці його — щоб немало наро́дів пони́щити та погуби́ти!

І станеться, як докона́є ввесь чин Свій Госпо́дь на Сіонській горі та в Єрусалимі, то скаже: Навіщу́ я плоди́ гордови́тости серця царя асирійського та пишно́ту чванли́вих оче́й його!

A Remnant Will Return
Now in that day the remnant of Israel, and those of the house of Jacob who have escaped, will never again rely on the one who struck them, but will truly rely on the LORD, the Holy One of Israel.
І станеться в день той, оста́нок Ізраїля і врято́вані дому Якова не бу́дуть вже більш опира́тись на то́го, хто б'є їх, — й обіпру́ться у правді на Господа, Святого Ізраїлевого.
A remnant will return, the remnant of Jacob, to the mighty God.
Останок наве́рнеться, останок Якова, до Сильного Бога.

“For in a very little while My indignation against you will be spent and My anger will be directed to their destruction.”
Бо мало ще, трохи побу́де, — та й скі́нчиться лють, і зве́рнеться гнів Мій на зни́щення їх!
The LORD of hosts will arouse a scourge against him like the slaughter of Midian at the rock of Oreb; and His staff will be over the sea and He will lift it up the way He did in Egypt.
І збу́дить на нього бича́ Госпо́дь Савао́т, як ура́зив був Він Мадія́ма при скелі Оре́в, і кий Його буде на морі, і його Він простя́гне, як колись на Єгипет!
So it will be in that day, that his burden will be removed from your shoulders and his yoke from your neck, and the yoke will be broken because of fatness.
І станеться в день той, з твого рамена тяга́р його зді́йметься, а з-над шиї твоєї ярмо́ його, і через ситість ярмо́ буде зни́щене!
