The word of the LORD came to me saying, “What do you see, Jeremiah?” And I said, “I see a rod of an almond tree.”

Moreover the word of the LORD came unto me, saying, Jeremiah, what seest thou? And I said, I see a rod of an almond tree.

“I see the branch of an almond tree,” I replied. -
Then the LORD said to me, “Look, Jeremiah! What do you see?”
And I replied, “I see a branch from an almond tree.” -

И было слово Господне ко мне: что видишь ты, Иеремия? Я сказал: вижу жезл миндального дерева.

Надійшло до мене ще й таке слово Господнє: «Що бачиш, Єреміє?» — Я відказав: «Бачу вітку мигдалеву.»

— Что ты видишь, Иеремия?
— Вижу ветку миндального5 дерева, — ответил я. -
До мене було Господнє слово, яке запитувало: Що ти бачиш? І я відповів: Горіхову палицю.
