The Coming Messiah: the Righteous Branch

“Woe to the shepherds who are destroying and scattering the sheep of My pasture!” declares the LORD.

1

— Горе пастухам, которые губят и разгоняют овец Моего стада! — возвещает Господь.

2

Therefore thus says the LORD God of Israel concerning the shepherds who are tending My people: “You have scattered My flock and driven them away, and have not attended to them; behold, I am about to attend to you for the evil of your deeds,” declares the LORD.

Поэтому так говорит Господь, Бог Израиля, пастухам, которые пасут Мой народ:
— Это вы рассеяли Мою отару, разогнали ее и не позаботились о ней, и Я накажу вас за ваши злодеяния, — возвещает Господь. —

“Then I Myself will gather the remnant of My flock out of all the countries where I have driven them and bring them back to their pasture, and they will be fruitful and multiply.

Я Сам соберу уцелевших из Моей отары со всех стран, куда Я их изгнал, и верну их в их загоны, где они будут плодиться и размножаться.

4

“I will also raise up shepherds over them and they will tend them; and they will not be afraid any longer, nor be terrified, nor will any be missing,” declares the LORD.

Я поставлю над ними пастухов, которые будут пасти их, и они больше не будут знать ни страха, ни трепета, и не будут больше пропадать, — возвещает Господь.

“Behold, the days are coming,” declares the LORD,
“When I will raise up for David a righteous Branch;
And He will reign as king and act wisely
And do justice and righteousness in the land.

— Непременно настанут дни, — возвещает Господь, —
когда Я воздвигну для Давида праведную Ветвь,74
Царя, Который будет править мудро
и вершить в стране справедливость и правосудие.

“In His days Judah will be saved,
And Israel will dwell securely;
And this is His name by which He will be called,
‘The LORD our righteousness.’

В Его дни Иуда будет спасен
и Израиль будет жить в безопасности.
Вот имя, которым Его назовут:
«Господь — наша праведность».75

“Therefore behold, the days are coming,” declares the LORD, “when they will no longer say, ‘As the LORD lives, who brought up the sons of Israel from the land of Egypt,’

— Итак, непременно настанут дни, — возвещает Господь, — когда не будут больше говорить: «Верно, как и то, что жив Господь, Который вывел израильтян из Египта»,

but, ‘As the LORD lives, who brought up and led back the descendants of the household of Israel from the north land and from all the countries where I had driven them.’ Then they will live on their own soil.”

а будут говорить: «Верно, как и то, что жив Господь, Который вывел и привел потомков дома Израиля из северных земель и из всех стран, куда Он76 изгнал их». Тогда они будут жить в своей земле.

False Prophets Denounced

As for the prophets:
My heart is broken within me,
All my bones tremble;
I have become like a drunken man,
Even like a man overcome with wine,
Because of the LORD
And because of His holy words.

О пророках.

Сердце во мне разрывается,
все мои кости дрожат.
Я словно пьяный,
как человек, которого одолело вино.
И это из-за Господа,
из-за Его святых слов.

For the land is full of adulterers;
For the land mourns because of the curse.
The pastures of the wilderness have dried up.
Their course also is evil
And their might is not right.

Земля полна распутников,
поэтому она высыхает под проклятием,
и пастбища сгорели в пустыне.
Путь их зол,
и их сила — несправедлива.

“For both prophet and priest are polluted;
Even in My house I have found their wickedness,” declares the LORD.

— Пророки и священники — безбожники;
даже в Моем доме нахожу Я их беззакония, —
возвещает Господь. —

12

“Therefore their way will be like slippery paths to them,
They will be driven away into the gloom and fall down in it;
For I will bring calamity upon them,
The year of their punishment,” declares the LORD.

За это их путь станет скользким;
они будут ввергнуты во тьму
и там упадут.
Я нашлю на них беду,
когда придет год их наказания, —
возвещает Господь. —

“Moreover, among the prophets of Samaria I saw an offensive thing:
They prophesied by Baal and led My people Israel astray.

В самарийских пророках
Я вижу нечто отвратительное:
именем Баала они пророчествовали
и сбили с пути народ Мой Израиль.

14

“Also among the prophets of Jerusalem I have seen a horrible thing:
The committing of adultery and walking in falsehood;
And they strengthen the hands of evildoers,
So that no one has turned back from his wickedness.
All of them have become to Me like Sodom,
And her inhabitants like Gomorrah.

И в пророках Иерусалима
Я вижу нечто ужасное:
они изменяют, живут во лжи
и руки злодеев поддерживают,
чтобы никто не отвратился от злодейства.
Все они стали Мне, как Содом,
жители Иерусалима — как Гоморра.77

“Therefore thus says the LORD of hosts concerning the prophets,
‘Behold, I am going to feed them wormwood
And make them drink poisonous water,
For from the prophets of Jerusalem
Pollution has gone forth into all the land.’”

Поэтому так говорит Господь Сил о пророках:

— Горькой пищей их накормлю,
напою их отравленной водой
за то, что от пророков Иерусалима
нечестие расходится по всей стране.

16

Thus says the LORD of hosts,
“Do not listen to the words of the prophets who are prophesying to you.
They are leading you into futility;
They speak a vision of their own imagination,
Not from the mouth of the LORD.

Так говорит Господь Сил:

— Не слушайте слов, что говорят вам пророки, —
они обнадеживают вас напрасно.
Они говорят вам то, что им пригрезилось,
а не то, что от уст Господних.

17

“They keep saying to those who despise Me,
‘The LORD has said, “You will have peace”’;
And as for everyone who walks in the stubbornness of his own heart,
They say, ‘Calamity will not come upon you.’

Они твердят тем, кто Меня презирает:
«Господь говорит:
У вас будет мир»,
а всем, кто живет по упрямству своих сердец,
они говорят:
«Беда не придет к вам».

18

“But who has stood in the council of the LORD,
That he should see and hear His word?
Who has given heed to His word and listened?

Но кто из них стоял в совете Господнем,
чтобы видеть и слышать слово Его?
Кто внимал Его слову и слышал Его?

19

“Behold, the storm of the LORD has gone forth in wrath,
Even a whirling tempest;
It will swirl down on the head of the wicked.

Вот, буря Господня разразится яростью,
сильный смерч закружится
над головами нечестивых.

20

“The anger of the LORD will not turn back
Until He has performed and carried out the purposes of His heart;
In the last days you will clearly understand it.

20

Гнев Господень не утихнет,
пока не исполнит, пока не осуществит
замыслов Его сердца.
В последующие дни
вы ясно это поймете.

21

“I did not send these prophets,
But they ran.
I did not speak to them,
But they prophesied.

21

Я этих пророков не посылал,
а они прибежали;
Я с ними не говорил,
а они пророчествовали.

22

“But if they had stood in My council,
Then they would have announced My words to My people,
And would have turned them back from their evil way
And from the evil of their deeds.

22

Но если бы они стояли в Моем совете,
то возвещали бы Моему народу Мои слова,
чтобы он отвратился от своих злых путей и злодеяний.

23

“Am I a God who is near,” declares the LORD,
“And not a God far off?

Разве Я Бог только вблизи,
а вдали — не Бог? —
возвещает Господь. —

24

“Can a man hide himself in hiding places
So I do not see him?” declares the LORD.
“Do I not fill the heavens and the earth?” declares the LORD.

24

Разве может кто-нибудь спрятаться в укромном месте,
чтобы Я его не увидел? —
возвещает Господь. —
Разве не Я наполняю небо и землю? —
возвещает Господь.

25

“I have heard what the prophets have said who prophesy falsely in My name, saying, ‘I had a dream, I had a dream!’

— Я слышал, что говорят пророки, которые пророчествуют от Моего имени ложь. Они говорят: «Я видел сон! Я видел сон!»

“How long? Is there anything in the hearts of the prophets who prophesy falsehood, even these prophets of the deception of their own heart,

Как долго будет это продолжаться? Исправятся ли сердца пророков, которые пророчествуют ложь и обман своего сердца?

27

who intend to make My people forget My name by their dreams which they relate to one another, just as their fathers forgot My name because of Baal?

Они думают, что сны, которые они рассказывают друг другу, заставят Мой народ забыть Мое имя, как их отцы забыли Мое имя из-за поклонения Баалу.

28

“The prophet who has a dream may relate his dream, but let him who has My word speak My word in truth. What does straw have in common with grain?” declares the LORD.

Пусть тот пророк, который видел сон, рассказывает его как сон, а тот, у кого Мое слово, передает его верно. Что общего у мякины с зерном? — возвещает Господь. —

29

“Is not My word like fire?” declares the LORD, “and like a hammer which shatters a rock?

Разве Мое слово не подобно огню, — возвещает Господь, — и молоту, что раскалывает скалу?

30

“Therefore behold, I am against the prophets,” declares the LORD, “who steal My words from each other.

30

Потому Я против пророков, — возвещает Господь, — что крадут друг у друга Мои слова.

31

“Behold, I am against the prophets,” declares the LORD, “who use their tongues and declare, ‘The Lord declares.’

31

Да, Я против пророков, — возвещает Господь, — что болтают своим языком, заявляя: «Господь возвещает».

32

“Behold, I am against those who have prophesied false dreams,” declares the LORD, “and related them and led My people astray by their falsehoods and reckless boasting; yet I did not send them or command them, nor do they furnish this people the slightest benefit,” declares the LORD.

Да, Я против тех, кто пророчествует лживые сны, — возвещает Господь. — Они рассказывают свои сны и сбивают Мой народ с пути своими обманами и безрассудством, хотя Я не посылал их и не повелевал им. Они не приносят этому народу ни малейшей пользы, — возвещает Господь.

“Now when this people or the prophet or a priest asks you saying, ‘What is the oracle of the LORD?’ then you shall say to them, ‘What oracle?’ The LORD declares, ‘I will abandon you.’

Если кто-нибудь из народа, пророк или священник спросят тебя: «Каким пророчеством обременил78 тебя Господь?» — отвечай: «Вы — Мое бремя. Я вас покину, — возвещает Господь».

34

“Then as for the prophet or the priest or the people who say, ‘The oracle of the LORD,’ I will bring punishment upon that man and his household.

Если пророк, священник или кто-нибудь из народа скажет: «Вот бремя от Господа», то Я накажу этого человека и его дом.

35

“Thus will each of you say to his neighbor and to his brother, ‘What has the LORD answered?’ or, ‘What has the LORD spoken?’

35

Пусть спрашивают друг у друга и брат у брата: «Каков Господень ответ?» — или: «Что сказал Господь?» —

36

“For you will no longer remember the oracle of the LORD, because every man’s own word will become the oracle, and you have perverted the words of the living God, the LORD of hosts, our God.

36

но не упоминайте впредь «бремя от Господа», потому что слова всякого становятся его бременем, и вы искажаете этим слова живого Бога, Господа Сил, нашего Бога.

37

“Thus you will say to that prophet, ‘What has the LORD answered you?’ and, ‘What has the LORD spoken?’

37

Говорите пророку так: «Что тебе ответил Господь?» — или: «Что сказал Господь?»

38

“For if you say, ‘The oracle of the LORD!’ surely thus says the LORD, ‘Because you said this word, “The oracle of the LORD!” I have also sent to you, saying, “You shall not say, ‘The oracle of the LORD!’”’

А если вы будете говорить: «Бремя от Господа», то вот что говорит Господь: «Вы произносите эти слова, „Бремя от Господа“, хотя Я сказал вам не говорить: „Бремя от Господа“.

39

“Therefore behold, I will surely forget you and cast you away from My presence, along with the city which I gave you and your fathers.

За это Я совершенно забуду и отвергну вас от Себя вместе с этим городом, который Я дал вам и вашим предкам.

40

“I will put an everlasting reproach on you and an everlasting humiliation which will not be forgotten.”

40

Я покрою вас позором навеки — бесчестием навеки, которое не позабудется».
