“Did Hezekiah king of Judah and all Judah put him to death? Did he not fear the LORD and entreat the favor of the LORD, and the LORD changed His mind about the misfortune which He had pronounced against them? But we are committing a great evil against ourselves.”

Did Hezekiah king of Judah and all Judah put him at all to death? did he not fear the LORD, and besought the LORD, and the LORD repented him of the evil which he had pronounced against them? Thus might we procure great evil against our souls.

Did Hezekiah king of Judah and all Judah ever put him to death? Did he not fear the Lord and seek the Lord’s favor? And the Lord relented concerning the doom which He had pronounced against them. But we are doing great evil against ourselves.”

“Did Hezekiah king of Judah or anyone else in Judah put him to death? Did not Hezekiah fear the Lord and seek his favor? And did not the Lord relent, so that he did not bring the disaster he pronounced against them? We are about to bring a terrible disaster on ourselves!” -

Did Hezekiah king of Judah and all Judah put him to death? Did he not fear the Lord and entreat the favor of the Lord, and did not the Lord relent of the disaster that he had pronounced against them? But we are about to bring great disaster upon ourselves.” -
But did King Hezekiah and the people kill him for saying this? No, they turned from their sins and worshiped the LORD. They begged him for mercy. Then the LORD changed his mind about the terrible disaster he had pronounced against them. So we are about to do ourselves great harm.”

Did Hezekiah king of Judah and all Judah put him at all to death? Did he not fear Jehovah, and supplicate Jehovah, and Jehovah repented him of the evil that he had pronounced against them? And we should be doing a great evil against our souls. -
Умертвили ли его за это Езекия, царь Иудейский, и весь Иуда? Не убоялся ли он Господа и не умолял ли Господа? и Господь отменил бедствие, которое изрёк на них; а мы хотим сделать большое зло душам нашим?»

Хіба ж убив його за те Єзекія, цар юдейський, та ввесь Юда? Чи не мали вони страху перед Господом і не вблагали обличчя Господнє так, що він відвів те лихо, яким загрозив був їм? А ми мали б накликати лихо велике на наші душі?»

Хиба ж його вбив за се Езекія, царь Юдейський, та ввесь Юда? Чи ж не збоялись вони Господа та не благали помилування у Господа, так що Господь одмінив те лихо, яким загрозив їм? а ми мали б накликати велике лихо на душі наші? -
Чи справді забив його Єзекія, цар Юдин, та ввесь Юда? Чи ж він не побоявся Господа, і не зла́годив Господнього лиця? І Господь пожалував щодо того зла, яке говорив був на них. А ми вчинимо таке велике зло на свої душі?

Но разве Езекия, царь Иудеи, или кто-то другой в Иудее, предал его смерти? Разве Езекия не убоялся Господа и не стал искать Его милости? И разве Господь не передумал насылать беду, которую Он предрек им? Мы навлекаем на себя страшную беду!

Зроби собі посуд відселення, ти, що живеш, дочко Єгипту, бо Мемфіс буде на знищення і буде спалений, щоб не було в ньому жителів.

Езекий, царь Иудеи, не убил Михея, никто из народа Иудеи не убил Михея. Вы знаете, что Езекии почитал Господа и хотел Его ублажить. Господь сказал, что причинит зло Иудеи, но Езекии молился Господу, и Господь изменил Своё решение. Если мы нанесём вред Иеремии, тогда мы навлечём немало бед на наши головы, и сами будем виноваты в этом".
