Jeremiah 5:19

“It shall come about when they say, ‘Why has the LORD our God done all these things to us?’ then you shall say to them, ‘As you have forsaken Me and served foreign gods in your land, so you will serve strangers in a land that is not yours.’

And it shall come to pass, when ye shall say, Wherefore doeth the LORD our God all these things unto us? then shalt thou answer them, Like as ye have forsaken me, and served strange gods in your land, so shall ye serve strangers in a land that is not yours.

And it will be when you say, ‘Why does the Lord our God do all these things to us?’ then you shall answer them, ‘Just as you have forsaken Me and served foreign gods in your land, so you shall serve aliens in a land that is not yours.’

И если вы скажете: «за что Господь, Бог наш, делает нам всё это?», то отвечай: так как вы оставили Меня и служили чужим богам в земле своей, то будете служить чужим в земле не вашей.

Коли ж будете питати: За що вчинив нам усе це Господь, Бог наш? — відкажеш їм: Як мене ви покинули й служили чужим богам у землі вашій, так чужинцям служитимете в землі не вашій.

Коли ж мовляти мете: За що вдїяв нам се все Господь, Бог наш? то відкажи їм: Що ви мене покинули та й служили чужим богам у своїй землї, за те будете служити чужим у землї не вашій. -
І буде, як скажуть: За́ що Господь, Бог наш зробив нам усе це? то ти скажеш до них: Як Мене ви покинули, і служите в вашому кра́ї бога́м чужозе́мним, так чужи́нцям служити ви будете в кра́ї не вашому!

И когда народ спросит: «Почему Господь, наш Бог, сделал с нами все это?» — ты ответь им: «Так как вы оставили Меня и служили в своей земле чужим богам, вы будете служить иноземцам в земле не вашей».

І буде, коли питатимуть: Через що зробив нам Господь, Бог наш, це все? — то скажеш їм: Оскільки ви служили чужим богам у вашій землі, саме тому будете служити чужим не у вашій землі!
