Punishment for Wickedness Foretold
Moreover, the word of the LORD came to me saying,
Moreover, the word of the LORD came to me saying,

“And you, son of man, thus says the Lord GOD to the land of Israel, ‘An end! The end is coming on the four corners of the land.
Он сказал: "Теперь, сын человека, вот тебе весть Господня для земли Израильской. Конец. Пришёл конец для всей страны.
‘Now the end is upon you, and I will send My anger against you; I will judge you according to your ways and bring all your abominations upon you.
Прошёл конец для вас. Я покажу, как Я разгневался на вас. Я накажу за всё ужасное, содеянное вами. Я вас платить заставлю за все ужасные ваши дела.
‘For My eye will have no pity on you, nor will I spare you, but I will bring your ways upon you, and your abominations will be among you; then you will know that I am the LORD!’
Я милосердия не окажу, не буду о вас Я сожалеть. За всё дурное, что вы содеяли, Я шлю вам наказанье. И вы узнаете, что Я — Господь".
“Thus says the Lord GOD, ‘A disaster, unique disaster, behold it is coming!
Господь Всемогущий сказал: "Идёт несчастье за несчастьем!
‘An end is coming; the end has come! It has awakened against you; behold, it has come!
Приходит конец! Близок конец. Это случится очень скоро.
‘Your doom has come to you, O inhabitant of the land. The time has come, the day is near — tumult rather than joyful shouting on the mountains.
Живущие в Израиле, гибель идёт к вам. Близко время наказания! В горах шум смятения, а не радости.
‘Now I will shortly pour out My wrath on you and spend My anger against you; judge you according to your ways and bring on you all your abominations.
Скоро Я покажу вам силу гнева Своего, покажу его весь и накажу вас за всё дурное, что сделали вы. Я заставлю платить вас за всё ужасное, что сделали вы.
‘My eye will show no pity nor will I spare. I will repay you according to your ways, while your abominations are in your midst; then you will know that I, the LORD, do the smiting.
Я не проявлю милосердия и сожалеть о вас не буду. Я накажу вас за злые дела, которые вы совершили. И вы поймёте, что Я — Господь, который наказывает вас.
‘Behold, the day! Behold, it is coming! Your doom has gone forth; the rod has budded, arrogance has blossomed.
Вот и пришло время наказания. Пришло время смятения. Бог дал знак. Наказание началось. Посох зацвёл. Гордость разрослась. Могущество царя Навуходоносора разрастается.
‘Violence has grown into a rod of wickedness. None of them shall remain, none of their people, none of their wealth, nor anything eminent among them.
Жесток этот человек, и он готов наказать всех злых людей. Много людей в Израиле, но он не из них, он не человек из этой толпы.
‘The time has come, the day has arrived. Let not the buyer rejoice nor the seller mourn; for wrath is against all their multitude.
Время наказания пришло, этот день наступил. Кто покупает, тот не должен радоваться приобретённому, а кто продаёт, тот не должен жалеть о проданном, ибо наказание будет для каждого.
‘Indeed, the seller will not regain what he sold as long as they both live; for the vision regarding all their multitude will not be averted, nor will any of them maintain his life by his iniquity.
Тот, кто продал, всё равно не вернётся в проданное место до конца своей жизни, потому что это видение для всех. Никто не вернётся. Из-за своих грехов никто не сможет сохранить свою жизнь. Кто продал, тот не вернётся к проданному, даже если останется живым, всё равно не вернётся, потому что видение это для всей толпы, и если кто-то выжил или избежал, людям от этого лучше не будет.
‘They have blown the trumpet and made everything ready, but no one is going to the battle, for My wrath is against all their multitude.
Они будут трубить в трубы и готовиться к битве, но никто не идёт на войну, ибо гнев Мой против всей толпы.
‘The sword is outside and the plague and the famine are within. He who is in the field will die by the sword; famine and the plague will also consume those in the city.
Враги с мечами за городом, болезнь и голод в самом городе. И если человек уйдёт в поле, он будет убит мечом врага. А если останется в городе, то его уничтожат голод и болезнь.
‘Even when their survivors escape, they will be on the mountains like doves of the valleys, all of them mourning, each over his own iniquity.
И хотя часть людей убежит в горы, счастливы они не будут, они будут в печали из-за всех своих грехов, они будут плакать и стонать, словно голуби.
‘All hands will hang limp and all knees will become like water.
Слишком печальны и слишком усталы будут люди, чтобы поднять руки свои, а ноги их будут вроде воды.
‘They will gird themselves with sackcloth and shuddering will overwhelm them; and shame will be on all faces and baldness on all their heads.
И наденут они одежды печали, и страх их охватит, и на каждом лице будет позор, и каждый обреет голову в знак горя.
‘They will fling their silver into the streets and their gold will become an abhorrent thing; their silver and their gold will not be able to deliver them in the day of the wrath of the LORD. They cannot satisfy their appetite nor can they fill their stomachs, for their iniquity has become an occasion of stumbling.
Они выбросят своих серебряных идолов на улицы. Своих золотых идолов они выбросят как грязную тряпку. Золотые и серебряные идолы не спасут их от гнева Господнего. Их золото и серебро идолы не накормят людей. Золото и серебро идолы были причиной падения многих людей.
The Temple Profaned
‘They transformed the beauty of His ornaments into pride, and they made the images of their abominations and their detestable things with it; therefore I will make it an abhorrent thing to them.
Люди из своих драгоценностей сделали идола и гордились им. Они сделали жуткие статуи, эти страшилища. Поэтому Я (Бог) выброшу их, как грязную тряпку.
‘I will give it into the hands of the foreigners as plunder and to the wicked of the earth as spoil, and they will profane it.
Я позволю чужеземцам забрать их, и они будут, смеясь, их убивать и заберут часть людей в плен.
‘I will also turn My face from them, and they will profane My secret place; then robbers will enter and profane it.
Я отвернусь от них и не буду смотреть. Чужеземцы разрушат Мой храм, войдут в его святыни и осквернят их.
‘Make the chain, for the land is full of bloody crimes and the city is full of violence.
Сделайте цепи для пленников, ибо многие будут наказаны за убийства, за насилие в городе.
‘Therefore, I will bring the worst of the nations, and they will possess their houses. I will also make the pride of the strong ones cease, and their holy places will be profaned.
Я приведу злых людей из других земель, и они займут все дома Израиля. Я усмирю гордыню могущественных, и люди других народов затопчут места поклонений ваших.
‘When anguish comes, they will seek peace, but there will be none.
Вы сотрясётесь от страха и будете искать мира, но не найдёте его.
‘Disaster will come upon disaster and rumor will be added to rumor; then they will seek a vision from a prophet, but the law will be lost from the priest and counsel from the elders.
Будет несчастье за несчастьем, и один слух за другим слухом. Вы будете выспрашивать пророка о его видениях, но пророков не будет, и священникам нечему вас будет учить, и старейшины не найдут для вас советов.
‘The king will mourn, the prince will be clothed with horror, and the hands of the people of the land will tremble. According to their conduct I will deal with them, and by their judgments I will judge them. And they will know that I am the LORD.’”
Царь ваш будет оплакивать мёртвых, облекутся правители в одежды печали, и будет напуган простой народ, ибо Я отплачу им за все их дела, Я изберу им наказание и накажу. И после этого люди поймут, что Я — Господь".
