The king called aloud to bring in the conjurers, the Chaldeans and the diviners. The king spoke and said to the wise men of Babylon, “Any man who can read this inscription and explain its interpretation to me shall be clothed with purple and have a necklace of gold around his neck, and have authority as third ruler in the kingdom.”

The king cried aloud to bring in the astrologers, the Chaldeans, and the soothsayers. And the king spake, and said to the wise men of Babylon, Whosoever shall read this writing, and shew me the interpretation thereof, shall be clothed with scarlet, and have a chain of gold about his neck, and shall be the third ruler in the kingdom.

The king spoke, saying to the wise men of Babylon, “Whoever reads this writing, and tells me its interpretation, shall be clothed with purple and have a chain of gold around his neck; and he shall be the third ruler in the kingdom.”

The king called loudly to bring in the enchanters, the Chaldeans, and the astrologers. The king declaredb to the wise men of Babylon, “Whoever reads this writing, and shows me its interpretation, shall be clothed with purple and have a chain of gold around his neck and shall be the third ruler in the kingdom.” -
The king shouted for the enchanters, astrologers,b and fortune-tellers to be brought before him. He said to these wise men of Babylon, “Whoever can read this writing and tell me what it means will be dressed in purple robes of royal honor and will have a gold chain placed around his neck. He will become the third highest ruler in the kingdom!”

The king spoke and said to the wise men of Babylon, Whosoever shall read this writing, and shew me the interpretation thereof, shall be clothed with purple, and have a chain of gold about his neck, and shall be the third ruler in the kingdom. -
Сильно закричал царь, чтобы привели обаятелей, Халдеев и гадателей. Царь начал говорить и сказал мудрецам Вавилонским: кто прочитает это написанное и объяснит мне значение его, тот будет облечён в багряницу, и золотая цепь будет на шее у него, и третьим властелином будет в царстве.

І кликнув цар голосно, щоб привели чародіїв, халдеїв та звіздознавців. Заговорив цар і сказав вавилонським мудрецям: «Хто прочитає це написане і витлумачить мені його значення, того вберуть у пурпуру і золотий ланцюг буде на шиї у нього, й стане він третім правителем у царстві.»

І кликнув царь голосно, щоб привели мудрецїв, Халдеїв та віщунів, і став царь говорити й сказав мудрецям Вавилонським: Хто прочитає се написане й виложить менї, що воно значить, того вберуть в пурпур, і золотий ланцюг буде на шиї в нього, і буде третім князем у царстві. -
Цар сильно закричав приве́сти заклиначі́в, халде́їв та віщуні́в. Цар заговорив та й сказав вавилонським мудреця́м: „Кожен муж, що прочитає це писа́ння й об'явить мені його ро́зв'язку, той зодя́гне пурпу́ру й золотого ланцюга́ на свою шию, і буде панувати третім у царстві“.

Царь громко закричал, чтобы привели волшебников, мудрецов-халдеев и колдунов и сказал этим вавилонским мудрецам:
— Того, кто прочтет эту надпись и объяснит мне ее смысл, оденут в пурпур, возложат ему на шею золотую цепь, и он станет третьим человеком в царстве. -
І цар сильно закричав, щоб привели чародіїв, халдеїв, ґазаренів [1] , і сказав мудрецям Вавилону: Хто лиш прочитає цей напис і скаже мені пояснення, буде одягнений у багряницю, і золотий ланцюг на його шию, і буде третім володарем у моєму царстві!

Царь позвал к себе чародеев, халдеев и предсказателей и сказал им: "Я дам награду тому, кто сможет прочесть эти письмена и объяснить, что они значат. Я дам багряницу этому человеку и надену ему на шею золотую цепь. Я сделаю его третьим властелином в царстве".
