The LORD said to Moses:
“Tell your brother Aaron that he shall not enter at any time into the holy place inside the veil, before the mercy seat which is on the ark, or he will die; for I will appear in the cloud over the mercy seat.

And the LORD said unto Moses, Speak unto Aaron thy brother, that he come not at all times into the holy place within the vail before the mercy seat, which is upon the ark; that he die not: for I will appear in the cloud upon the mercy seat.

and the Lord said to Moses: “Tell Aaron your brother not to come at just any time into the Holy Place inside the veil, before the mercy seat which is on the ark, lest he die; for I will appear in the cloud above the mercy seat.

The Lord said to Moses: “Tell your brother Aaron that he is not to come whenever he chooses into the Most Holy Place behind the curtain in front of the atonement cover on the ark, or else he will die. For I will appear in the cloud over the atonement cover. -

The LORD said to Moses, “Warn your brother, Aaron, not to enter the Most Holy Place behind the inner curtain whenever he chooses; if he does, he will die. For the Ark’s cover — the place of atonement — is there, and I myself am present in the cloud above the atonement cover.

и сказал Господь Моисею: скажи Аарону, брату твоему, чтоб он не во всякое время входил во святилище за завесу пред крышку, что на ковчеге, дабы ему не умереть, ибо над крышкою Я буду являться в облаке.

Господь промовив до Мойсея й сказав до нього: «Повідай Аронові, братові твоєму, щоб не входив повсякчас у святиню, за завісу, перед віко, що на ковчезі; щоб не вмер, як я в хмарі з'являтимусь над віком.

І рече Господь Мойсейові: Промов до Арона, брата твого, щоб не входив по всяк час у сьвятинї за завісу, перед віко, що на скринї, щоб не вмерти йому; в хмарі бо обявлятись буду над віком. -
І сказав Господь до Мойсея: „Промовляй до Ааро́на, брата свого, і нехай він не входить кожного ча́су до святині за завісу, перед віко, що на ковче́зі, — щоб не вмер він, бо Я в хмарі являюся над тим віком.

Господь сказал Моисею:
— Скажи своему брату Аарону, чтобы он не во всякое время приходил в Святое Святых за завесу, перед крышкой искупления25 на ковчеге, иначе он умрет. Ведь Я буду являться в облаке над крышкой искупления. -
Господь сказав Мойсеєві: Скажи своєму братові Ааронові, хай він не входить у будь-який час у Святе, усередину за завісу, перед обличчя місця викуплення, що на ковчегу свідчення, щоб він не помер, бо там, над місцем викуплення Я з’являтимусь у хмарі.

Там, позади завесы, находится святой ларец, а на нём особая крышка. Над этой особой крышкой Я являюсь в облаке, и если Аарон войдёт в эту комнату, он может умереть!
