Rules concerning Valuations
Again, the LORD spoke to Moses, saying,
Again, the LORD spoke to Moses, saying,

“Speak to the sons of Israel and say to them, ‘When a man makes a difficult vow, he shall be valued according to your valuation of persons belonging to the LORD.
Промов до ізраїльських синів та скажи їм:
Якщо якийсь чоловік складатиме обітницю як вартість своєї душі Господу,
Якщо якийсь чоловік складатиме обітницю як вартість своєї душі Господу,
‘If your valuation is of the male from twenty years even to sixty years old, then your valuation shall be fifty shekels of silver, after the shekel of the sanctuary.
то ось яка буде вартість мужчини віком від двадцяти до шістдесяти років: його вартість буде п’ятдесят дідрахм срібла, важачи священною вагою;
‘Or if it is a female, then your valuation shall be thirty shekels.
відповідна ж вартість жінки буде тридцять дідрахм.
‘If it be from five years even to twenty years old then your valuation for the male shall be twenty shekels and for the female ten shekels.
А якщо вони віком від п’яти до двадцяти років, то вартість хлопця буде двадцять дідрахм, а дівчини — десять дідрахм.
‘But if they are from a month even up to five years old, then your valuation shall be five shekels of silver for the male, and for the female your valuation shall be three shekels of silver.
А віком від одного місяця до п’яти років вартість хлопця буде п’ять дідрахм срібла, а дівчини — три дідрахми.
‘If they are from sixty years old and upward, if it is a male, then your valuation shall be fifteen shekels, and for the female ten shekels.
Якщо ж вони віком від шістдесяти років і старші, то якщо це буде мужчина, вартість буде п’ятнадцять дідрахм срібла, а якщо жінка — десять дідрахм.
‘But if he is poorer than your valuation, then he shall be placed before the priest and the priest shall value him; according to the means of the one who vowed, the priest shall value him.
Якщо ж він буде надто бідний для такої вартості, то нехай стане перед священиком, і нехай священик його оцінить — згідно з тим, на що спроможна рука того, хто склав обітницю, священик його оцінить.
‘Now if it is an animal of the kind which men can present as an offering to the LORD, any such that one gives to the LORD shall be holy.
А якщо посвячене буде з худоби, з якої можна приносити дар Господу, то те, що він із неї дасть Господу, буде святим.
‘He shall not replace it or exchange it, a good for a bad, or a bad for a good; or if he does exchange animal for animal, then both it and its substitute shall become holy.
Хай він не замінює його — ні доброго поганим, ані поганого добрим. Якщо ж він таки замінить [1] худобину худобиною, то і вона, і її заміна будуть святі.
‘If, however, it is any unclean animal of the kind which men do not present as an offering to the LORD, then he shall place the animal before the priest.

‘The priest shall value it as either good or bad; as you, the priest, value it, so it shall be.

‘But if he should ever wish to redeem it, then he shall add one-fifth of it to your valuation.
А якщо власник буде викупляти [2] її, то нехай додасть до її вартості ще п’яту частину.
‘Now if a man consecrates his house as holy to the LORD, then the priest shall value it as either good or bad; as the priest values it, so it shall stand.
Якщо якийсь чоловік посвятить як святе для Господа свій дім, то нехай священик оцінить його, чи він добрий, чи поганий: як священик його оцінить, так і буде.
‘Yet if the one who consecrates it should wish to redeem his house, then he shall add one-fifth of your valuation price to it, so that it may be his.
Якщо той, хто посвятив його, захоче викупити свій дім, нехай додасть до того ще п’яту частину з грошей вартості, і він залишиться його.
‘Again, if a man consecrates to the LORD part of the fields of his own property, then your valuation shall be proportionate to the seed needed for it: a homer of barley seed at fifty shekels of silver.
Якщо ж якийсь чоловік посвятить Господу частину поля зі своєї посілості, то нехай його вартість буде встановлена відповідно до його посіву: мірка ячменю по п’ятдесят дідрахм срібла.
‘If he consecrates his field as of the year of jubilee, according to your valuation it shall stand.
Якщо він посвятить своє поле, починаючи від самого року звільнення, то воно буде по його повній вартості.
‘If he consecrates his field after the jubilee, however, then the priest shall calculate the price for him proportionate to the years that are left until the year of jubilee; and it shall be deducted from your valuation.
Якщо ж він посвятить своє поле пізніше, якийсь час після року звільнення, то нехай священик обрахує гроші за роки, що залишаються до наступного року звільнення, і від його повної вартості буде віднято.
‘If the one who consecrates it should ever wish to redeem the field, then he shall add one-fifth of your valuation price to it, so that it may pass to him.
Якщо той, хто посвятив поле, захоче викупити його, то нехай додасть п’яту частину грошей до його вартості, і воно залишиться його.
‘Yet if he will not redeem the field, but has sold the field to another man, it may no longer be redeemed;
Якщо ж він не викупить того поля і продасть те поле іншій людині, то він більше не зможе викупити його;
and when it reverts in the jubilee, the field shall be holy to the LORD, like a field set apart; it shall be for the priest as his property.
а коли прийде рік звільнення, те поле буде посвячене Господу як виділена земля і стане посілістю для священика.
‘Or if he consecrates to the LORD a field which he has bought, which is not a part of the field of his own property,
Якщо ж він посвятить Господу частину поля, яке він купив, тобто яке не є з поля його посілості,
then the priest shall calculate for him the amount of your valuation up to the year of jubilee; and he shall on that day give your valuation as holy to the LORD.
то нехай священик обрахує йому повну вартість від року звільнення і нехай він того ж дня віддасть вартість як посвячене Господу.
‘In the year of jubilee the field shall return to the one from whom he bought it, to whom the possession of the land belongs.
А в рік звільнення те поле буде віддане людині, в якої він його купив, якій належала посілість землі.
‘Every valuation of yours, moreover, shall be after the shekel of the sanctuary. The shekel shall be twenty gerahs.
Нехай кожна вартість буде у священних мірах ваги: одна дідрахма матиме двадцять оболів.
‘However, a firstborn among animals, which as a firstborn belongs to the LORD, no man may consecrate it; whether ox or sheep, it is the LORD’S.
А кожне первородне, що народиться у твоєї худоби, буде Господнє, тож хай ніхто не посвячує його: чи це теля, чи це вівця, — вони вже Господні.
‘But if it is among the unclean animals, then he shall redeem it according to your valuation and add to it one-fifth of it; and if it is not redeemed, then it shall be sold according to your valuation.
Якщо ж воно буде з нечистих чотириногих, то нехай він відшкодує його за його вартістю, додасть до того п’яту частину, і воно залишиться його. А якщо ж він не викупить його, то нехай воно буде продане за його вартістю.
‘Nevertheless, anything which a man sets apart to the LORD out of all that he has, of man or animal or of the fields of his own property, shall not be sold or redeemed. Anything devoted to destruction is most holy to the LORD.
Але ніщо, що буде закляте, що людина посвятить Господу із закляттям — із усього, що їй належить, від людини до худоби, чи з поля її посілості, — не може продаватися і не може викуплятися. Усе, що закляте, буде святим святих для Господа.
‘No one who may have been set apart among men shall be ransomed; he shall surely be put to death.
І ніхто, хто з людей буде посвячений із закляттям, не може бути викуплений, але нехай буде неодмінно вбитий [3].
‘Thus all the tithe of the land, of the seed of the land or of the fruit of the tree, is the LORD’S; it is holy to the LORD.
Кожна десята частина з землі, з насіння землі та плоду дерев, належатиме Господу. Це святе для Господа.
‘If, therefore, a man wishes to redeem part of his tithe, he shall add to it one-fifth of it.
Якщо ж якийсь чоловік буде викупляти [4] свою десятину, то нехай додасть до того п’яту частину, і вона буде його.
‘For every tenth part of herd or flock, whatever passes under the rod, the tenth one shall be holy to the LORD.
І кожна десята частина з великої та дрібної худоби, кожне, що при перерахунку пройде під палицею під десятим числом, буде святим для Господа.
‘He is not to be concerned whether it is good or bad, nor shall he exchange it; or if he does exchange it, then both it and its substitute shall become holy. It shall not be redeemed.’”
Не замінюй гарне поганим. Якщо ж ти таки заміниш [5] його, то і його заміна стане святою і не зможе бути викупленою.
