И сказали сыны Израилевы Моисею: вот, мы умираем, погибаем, все погибаем!

Узяв Арон, як сказав Мойсей, кадильницю та й метнувсь у громаду, але мор уже почався між людьми. Насипав він ладану та й заходився справляти покуту за людей.

І взяв Аарон, як говорив Мойсей, і побіг до сере́дини зборів, аж ось — розпочалася пора́зка наро́ду! І він поклав кадила, і очистив наро́д.

Израильтяне сказали Моисею:
— Мы погибаем! Мы пропали, мы все пропали! -
І взяв Аарон, як і сказав йому Мойсей, та побіг до табору. А вже почалося вигублення народу. Тож він насипав ладану і помолився за народ.
