The chief priests and the scribes were seeking how they might put Him to death; for they were afraid of the people.

And Satan entered into Judas who was called Iscariot, belonging to the number of the twelve.
В Иуду, прозванного Искариотом, одного из двенадцати апостолов, вселился сатана;
And he went away and discussed with the chief priests and officers how he might betray Him to them.

They were glad and agreed to give him money.

So he consented, and began seeking a good opportunity to betray Him to them apart from the crowd.

Then came the first day of Unleavened Bread on which the Passover lamb had to be sacrificed.

And Jesus sent Peter and John, saying, “Go and prepare the Passover for us, so that we may eat it.”

They said to Him, “Where do You want us to prepare it?”
Они спросили Его: "Где Ты хочешь, чтобы мы приготовили ужин?"
And He said to them, “When you have entered the city, a man will meet you carrying a pitcher of water; follow him into the house that he enters.
И Он сказал им: "Когда войдёте в город, встретите человека, несущего кувшин с водой. Идите за ним в дом, в который он войдёт,
“And you shall say to the owner of the house, ‘The Teacher says to you, “Where is the guest room in which I may eat the Passover with My disciples?”’
и скажите хозяину: "Учитель спрашивает тебя: где комната, в которой бы Мне есть пасхальный ужин с моими учениками?"
“And he will show you a large, furnished upper room; prepare it there.”
И тот человек покажет вам большую комнату наверху, убранную для вас. Там и приготовьте пасхальный ужин".
And they left and found everything just as He had told them; and they prepared the Passover.
Пётр и Иоанн пошли и нашли всё так, как Он и говорил им, и приготовили пасхальный ужин.
The Lord’s Supper
When the hour had come, He reclined at the table, and the apostles with Him.
Когда час настал, Иисус и апостолы заняли места за столом,
And He said to them, “I have earnestly desired to eat this Passover with you before I suffer;
и Он сказал им: "Как желал Я разделить с вами эту пасхальную трапезу перед Моей смертью!
for I say to you, I shall never again eat it until it is fulfilled in the kingdom of God.”
Ибо, говорю вам, не попробую больше еды пасхальной, пока не случится это в Царстве Божьем!"
And when He had taken a cup and given thanks, He said, “Take this and share it among yourselves;
Потом Он взял чашу и, возблагодарив Бога, сказал: "Возьмите её и обнесите всех,
for I say to you, I will not drink of the fruit of the vine from now on until the kingdom of God comes.”
ибо говорю вам: не буду пить вина виноградного, пока не придёт Царство Божье".
And when He had taken some bread and given thanks, He broke it and gave it to them, saying, “This is My body which is given for you; do this in remembrance of Me.”
Затем Он взял хлеб и, возблагодарив Бога, преломил его и дал им всем, сказав: "Это — Тело Моё, за вас отдаваемое. Ешьте хлеб в память обо Мне".
And in the same way He took the cup after they had eaten, saying, “This cup which is poured out for you is the new covenant in My blood.
После ужина Иисус снова взял чашу и сказал: "Это вино — новое соглашение Господа с народом Своим, скреплённое Кровью Моею, которую Я пролью за вас.
“But behold, the hand of the one betraying Me is with Mine on the table.
Но смотрите! Один из вас вскоре предаст Меня. Рука его сейчас лежит рядом с Моей на столе.
“For indeed, the Son of Man is going as it has been determined; but woe to that man by whom He is betrayed!”
Сын Человеческий идёт навстречу судьбе Своей, как и было предопределено Господом, но горе тому, кто предал Его!"
And they began to discuss among themselves which one of them it might be who was going to do this thing.
И они начали спрашивать друг друга: "Кто же из нас может сделать такое?"
Who Is Greatest
And there arose also a dispute among them as to which one of them was regarded to be greatest.
И возник между ними спор, кто из них должен считаться самым главным.
And He said to them, “The kings of the Gentiles lord it over them; and those who have authority over them are called ‘Benefactors.’
Но Иисус сказал им: "Цари язычников господствуют над своими народами, а те, кто проявляет над ними власть, зовутся "благодетелями".
“But it is not this way with you, but the one who is the greatest among you must become like the youngest, and the leader like the servant.
Но вы не такие, как они; напротив: самый главный из вас должен быть как самый младший, а тот, кто правит, должен быть подобен тому, кто прислуживает.
“For who is greater, the one who reclines at the table or the one who serves? Is it not the one who reclines at the table? But I am among you as the one who serves.
Ибо кто важнее: тот, кто за столом, или тот, кто прислуживает? Вы считаете, что тот, кто за столом? Но Я среди вас, как тот, кто прислуживает.
and just as My Father has granted Me a kingdom, I grant you
И как Отец Мой даровал Мне царскую власть, так и Я передаю её вам,
that you may eat and drink at My table in My kingdom, and you will sit on thrones judging the twelve tribes of Israel.
чтобы вы могли есть и пить за столом в царстве Моём. И будете вы восседать на престолах, верша суд над двенадцатью коленами Израиля".
“Simon, Simon, behold, Satan has demanded permission to sift you like wheat;
"О Симон, Симон, сатана просил разрешения испытать вас, чтобы отделить плохих от хороших, как крестьянин отделяет пшеничные зёрна от сорных.
but I have prayed for you, that your faith may not fail; and you, when once you have turned again, strengthen your brothers.”
Я молился за тебя, чтобы не ослабела вера твоя; и ты, вернувшись ко Мне снова, утверди братьев твоих в вере".
But he said to Him, “Lord, with You I am ready to go both to prison and to death!”
Пётр ответил Ему: "Господи! Я готов идти с Тобой и в темницу, и на смерть".
And He said, “I say to you, Peter, the rooster will not crow today until you have denied three times that you know Me.”
Но Он сказал: "Говорю тебе, Пётр, сегодня, прежде чем пропоёт петух, ты трижды отречёшься от Меня".
And He said to them, “When I sent you out without money belt and bag and sandals, you did not lack anything, did you?” They said, “No, nothing.”
И сказал им Иисус: "Когда Я послал вас без денег, без сумы дорожной и без обуви, имели ли вы в чём-нибудь недостаток?" Они сказали: "Ни в чём".
And He said to them, “But now, whoever has a money belt is to take it along, likewise also a bag, and whoever has no sword is to sell his coat and buy one.
"Теперь же, — сказал Он им, — у кого есть деньги, пусть возьмёт их и суму дорожную с собой, а у кого нет меча, пусть продаст одежду и купит меч.
“For I tell you that this which is written must be fulfilled in Me, ‘AND HE WAS NUMBERED WITH TRANSGRESSORS’; for that which refers to Me has its fulfillment.”
Ибо говорю вам, на Мне должно исполнится сказанное в Писании: "И будет причислен к беззаконным". Ибо то, что написано обо Мне, уже близко".
They said, “Lord, look, here are two swords.” And He said to them, “It is enough.”
"Господи — сказали они, — посмотри, здесь два меча". И Он сказал им: "Двух будет достаточно".
The Garden of Gethsemane
And He came out and proceeded as was His custom to the Mount of Olives; and the disciples also followed Him.
Иисус вышел, и по Своему обыкновению, пошёл на гору Елеонскую в сопровождении учеников.
When He arrived at the place, He said to them, “Pray that you may not enter into temptation.”
Придя на место, Он сказал им: "Молитесь, чтобы не впасть в искушение".
And He withdrew from them about a stone’s throw, and He knelt down and began to pray,
Сам же отошёл от них на расстояние брошенного камня, стал на колени и молился, говоря:
saying, “Father, if You are willing, remove this cup from Me; yet not My will, but Yours be done.”
"Отец, если будет на то воля Твоя, то отведи от Меня чашу страданий. Но пусть свершится Твоя воля, а не Моя!"
Now an angel from heaven appeared to Him, strengthening Him.
И явился Ему ангел с неба, чтобы укрепить и поддержать Его.
And being in agony He was praying very fervently; and His sweat became like drops of blood, falling down upon the ground.
И в мучениях ещё усерднее молился Он. И, словно капли крови, падал на землю пот Его.
When He rose from prayer, He came to the disciples and found them sleeping from sorrow,
И когда Он поднялся после молитвы, то подошёл к ученикам и увидел, что, изнурённые печалью, они заснули.
and said to them, “Why are you sleeping? Get up and pray that you may not enter into temptation.”
"Почему спите вы? — сказал Он им. — Вставайте и молитесь, чтобы не впасть в искушение".
Jesus Betrayed by Judas
While He was still speaking, behold, a crowd came, and the one called Judas, one of the twelve, was preceding them; and he approached Jesus to kiss Him.
Когда Он ещё говорил это, появилась толпа людей, впереди которой шёл человек по имени Иуда, один из двенадцати апостолов. Он подошёл к Иисусу, чтобы поцеловать Его,
But Jesus said to him, “Judas, are you betraying the Son of Man with a kiss?”
но Иисус сказал: "Иуда, что же ты с дружеским поцелуем предаёшь Сына Человеческого?"
When those who were around Him saw what was going to happen, they said, “Lord, shall we strike with the sword?”
Когда окружавшие Его ученики увидели, к чему идёт дело, они сказали: "Господи, не обнажить ли мечи наши?"
And one of them struck the slave of the high priest and cut off his right ear.
И один из них поразил мечом слугу первосвященника и отсёк ему правое ухо.
But Jesus answered and said, “Stop! No more of this.” And He touched his ear and healed him.
Но Иисус сказал: "Довольно. Остановитесь!" Он коснулся уха слуги и исцелил его.
Then Jesus said to the chief priests and officers of the temple and elders who had come against Him, “Have you come out with swords and clubs as you would against a robber?
Тогда Иисус сказал первосвященникам, старейшинам и стражникам, пришедшим схватить Его: "Почему вы вышли на меня с мечами и кольями, как на разбойника?
“While I was with you daily in the temple, you did not lay hands on Me; but this hour and the power of darkness are yours.”
Ведь ежедневно Я бывал с вами в храме, почему же вы тогда не пытались схватить Меня? Но это ваш час — настала власть тьмы".
Jesus’ Arrest
Having arrested Him, they led Him away and brought Him to the house of the high priest; but Peter was following at a distance.
Они взяли Иисуса под стражу и увели, и пришли в дом первосвященника. Пётр же следовал за ними на расстоянии.
After they had kindled a fire in the middle of the courtyard and had sat down together, Peter was sitting among them.
Стражники разожгли огонь посреди двора и сели все вместе, и Пётр был среди них.
And a servant-girl, seeing him as he sat in the firelight and looking intently at him, said, “This man was with Him too.”
Одна служанка, увидевшая его при свете огня, пристально посмотрела на него и сказала: "Этот человек тоже был с Ним".
But he denied it, saying, “Woman, I do not know Him.”
Но он отрицал это, говоря: "Женщина, я не знаю Его!"
A little later, another saw him and said, “You are one of them too!” But Peter said, “Man, I am not!”
Чуть позже другой человек увидел его и сказал: "Ты тоже один из них". Но Пётр сказал: "Нет, я не из них".
After about an hour had passed, another man began to insist, saying, “Certainly this man also was with Him, for he is a Galilean too.”
Прошло около часа, и стал кто-то ещё настойчиво утверждать: "Этот человек точно был с Ним, ведь он галилеянин".
But Peter said, “Man, I do not know what you are talking about.” Immediately, while he was still speaking, a rooster crowed.
Но Пётр сказал: "Я не знаю, о чём ты говоришь!" И в ту же минуту, когда он ещё говорил, пропел петух.
The Lord turned and looked at Peter. And Peter remembered the word of the Lord, how He had told him, “Before a rooster crows today, you will deny Me three times.”
Тогда Господь обернулся и взглянул на Петра. И вспомнил Пётр слова Господа: "Сегодня, прежде чем пропоёт петух, трижды отречёшься от Меня".
Now the men who were holding Jesus in custody were mocking Him and beating Him,
А люди, державшие Иисуса, стали издеваться над Ним и бить Его.
and they blindfolded Him and were asking Him, saying, “Prophesy, who is the one who hit You?”
Они завязали Иисусу глаза и спрашивали: "Если Ты пророк, скажи, кто ударил Тебя?"
And they were saying many other things against Him, blaspheming.
И много других оскорблений наносили они Ему.
Jesus before the Sanhedrin
When it was day, the Council of elders of the people assembled, both chief priests and scribes, and they led Him away to their council chamber, saying,
Когда настал день, собрались старейшины народа, первосвященники и законники, и ввели Его в синедрион,
“If You are the Christ, tell us.” But He said to them, “If I tell you, you will not believe;
и сказали: "Если Ты Христос, скажи нам". "Если Я скажу вам, вы не поверите Мне, — ответил Иисус, —
“But from now on THE SON OF MAN WILL BE SEATED AT THE RIGHT HAND of the power OF GOD.”
Но отныне Сын Человеческий будет восседать по правую руку от престола Божьего".
And they all said, “Are You the Son of God, then?” And He said to them, “Yes, I am.”
И сказали все: "Так Ты — Сын Божий?" И Он ответил: "Вы говорите, что Я".
