The First Seal — Rider on White Horse

І я бачив, що Агнець розкрив одну з семи печаток, і почув я одну з чотирьох тих тварин, яка говорила, як голосом грому: „Підійди́!“
I looked, and behold, a white horse, and he who sat on it had a bow; and a crown was given to him, and he went out conquering and to conquer.
І я глянув, — і ось кінь білий, а той, хто на ньому сидів, мав лука. І вінця́ йому да́но, і він вийшов, немов переможець, і щоб перемогти.
The Second Seal — War
When He broke the second seal, I heard the second living creature saying, “Come.”
І коли другу печатку розкрив, я другу тварину почув, що казала: „Підійди!“
And another, a red horse, went out; and to him who sat on it, it was granted to take peace from the earth, and that men would slay one another; and a great sword was given to him.
І вийшов кінь другий, — червоний. А тому, хто на ньому сидів, було да́но взяти мир із землі та щоб убивали один о́дного. І меч великий був да́ний йому.
The Third Seal — Famine
When He broke the third seal, I heard the third living creature saying, “Come.” I looked, and behold, a black horse; and he who sat on it had a pair of scales in his hand.
І коли третю печатку розкрив, я третю тварину почув, що казала: „Підійди!“ І я глянув, — і ось кінь ворони́й. А той, хто на ньому сидів, мав вагу́ в своїй руці.
And I heard something like a voice in the center of the four living creatures saying, “A quart of wheat for a denarius, and three quarts of barley for a denarius; and do not damage the oil and the wine.”
І я ніби голос почув посеред чотирьох тих тварин, що казав: „Ківш пшениці за динарія, і три ковші ячменю за динарія, а оливи й вина не марнуй!“
The Fourth Seal — Death
When the Lamb broke the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth living creature saying, “Come.”
А коли Він четверту печатку розкрив, я четверту тварину почув, що казала: „Підійди!“
I looked, and behold, an ashen horse; and he who sat on it had the name Death; and Hades was following with him. Authority was given to them over a fourth of the earth, to kill with sword and with famine and with pestilence and by the wild beasts of the earth.
І я глянув, — і ось кінь ча́лий. А той, хто на ньому сидів, на ім'я́ йому Смерть, за ним же слідом ішов Ад. І да́на їм вла́да була на четвертій частині землі забивати мечем, і голодом, і мором, і земни́ми звірми́.
The Fifth Seal — Martyrs
When the Lamb broke the fifth seal, I saw underneath the altar the souls of those who had been slain because of the word of God, and because of the testimony which they had maintained;
І коли п'яту печатку розкрив, я побачив під же́ртівником душі побитих за Боже Слово, і за свідчення, яке вони мали.
and they cried out with a loud voice, saying, “How long, O Lord, holy and true, will You refrain from judging and avenging our blood on those who dwell on the earth?”
І кли́кнули вони гучним голосом, кажучи: „Аж доки, Владико святий та правдивий, не будеш судити, і не мститимеш тим, хто живе на землі, за кров нашу?“
And there was given to each of them a white robe; and they were told that they should rest for a little while longer, until the number of their fellow servants and their brethren who were to be killed even as they had been, would be completed also.
І кожному з них да́но білу одежу, і сказано їм іще трохи спочити, аж поки допо́внять число їхні співслуги, і брати́ їхні, що будуть побиті, як і вони.
The Sixth Seal — Terror
I looked when He broke the sixth seal, and there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth made of hair, and the whole moon became like blood;
І коли шосту печатку розкрив, я поглянув, — і ось сталось велике трясіння землі, і сонце зчорніло, як міх волося́ний, і ввесь місяць зробився, як кров.
and the stars of the sky fell to the earth, as a fig tree casts its unripe figs when shaken by a great wind.
І на землю попа́дали зорі небесні, як фіґове дерево ро́нить свої недозрілі плоди́, коли потрясе сильний вітер.
The sky was split apart like a scroll when it is rolled up, and every mountain and island were moved out of their places.
І небо сховалось, згорнувшись, немов той сувій перга́мену, і кожна гора, і кожен о́стрів порушилися з своїх місць.
Then the kings of the earth and the great men and the commanders and the rich and the strong and every slave and free man hid themselves in the caves and among the rocks of the mountains;
І зе́мні царі, і вельможі та тисячники, і багаті та сильні, і кожен раб та кожен вільний, — поховались у печери та в скелі гірські́,
and they said to the mountains and to the rocks, “Fall on us and hide us from the presence of Him who sits on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb;
та й кажуть до гір та до скель: „Поспадайте на нас, і позакривайте ви нас від лиця Того, Хто сидить на престолі, і від гніву А́гнця!
