  • The Table of Nations

    This is the account of Shem, Ham and Japheth, Noah’s sons, who themselves had sons after the flood.
  • Nations Descended from Noah

    These are the generations of the sons of Noah, Shem, Ham, and Japheth. Sons were born to them after the flood.
  • The Japhethites

    The sonsa of Japheth:
    Gomer, Magog, Madai, Javan, Tubal, Meshek and Tiras.
  • The sons of Japheth: Gomer, Magog, Madai, Javan, Tubal, Meshech, and Tiras.
  • The sons of Gomer:
    Ashkenaz, Riphath and Togarmah.
  • The sons of Gomer: Ashkenaz, Riphath, and Togarmah.
  • The sons of Javan:
    Elishah, Tarshish, the Kittites and the Rodanites.b

    The sons of Ham:
    Cush, Egypt, Put and Canaan.

  • Pathrusim, Casluhim (from whomb the Philistines came), and Caphtorim.
  • Canaan was the father of
    Sidon his firstborn,g and of the Hittites,

  • Jebusites, Amorites, Girgashites,

    Later the Canaanite clans scattered
  • the Arvadites, the Zemarites, and the Hamathites. Afterward the clans of the Canaanites dispersed.
  • and the borders of Canaan reached from Sidon toward Gerar as far as Gaza, and then toward Sodom, Gomorrah, Admah and Zeboyim, as far as Lasha.
  • And the territory of the Canaanites extended from Sidon in the direction of Gerar as far as Gaza, and in the direction of Sodom, Gomorrah, Admah, and Zeboiim, as far as Lasha.
  • These are the sons of Ham by their clans and languages, in their territories and nations.
  • These are the sons of Ham, by their clans, their languages, their lands, and their nations.
  • The Semites

    Sons were also born to Shem, whose older brother wash Japheth; Shem was the ancestor of all the sons of Eber.
  • To Shem also, the father of all the children of Eber, the elder brother of Japheth, children were born.

    Elam, Ashur, Arphaxad, Lud and Aram.

  • Joktan was the father of
    Almodad, Sheleph, Hazarmaveth, Jerah,
  • Joktan fathered Almodad, Sheleph, Hazarmaveth, Jerah,
  • Hadoram, Uzal, Diklah,
  • Hadoram, Uzal, Diklah,
  • Obal, Abimael, Sheba,
  • Obal, Abimael, Sheba,
  • Ophir, Havilah and Jobab. All these were sons of Joktan.

  • The region where they lived stretched from Mesha toward Sephar, in the eastern hill country.

  • These are the clans of Noah’s sons, according to their lines of descent, within their nations. From these the nations spread out over the earth after the flood.
  • These are the clans of the sons of Noah, according to their genealogies, in their nations, and from these the nations spread abroad on the earth after the flood.
