Now send a message at once and tell David, ‘Do not spend the night at the fords in the wilderness; cross over without fail, or the king and all the people with him will be swallowed up.’ ”

И теперь пошлите поскорее и скажите Давиду так: не оставайся в эту ночь на равнине в пустыне, но поскорее перейди, чтобы не погибнуть царю и всем людям, которые с ним.

Оце ж посилаи хутко таку вістку Давидові: Не ночлїгуй над бродами в степу, а переходь зараз, щоб цареві й усьому людові, що при йому, не погибнути. -
А тепер швидко пошліть і донесіть Давидові, говорячи: Не ночуй цієї ночі в степа́х пустині, але конче перейди на той бік, щоб не був погли́нутий цар та ввесь народ, що з ним“.

Итак, немедленно пошлите известить Давида: «Не ночуй у бродов в пустыне; во что бы то ни стало переходи, иначе царь и все люди, которые с ним, будут истреблены».

Тепер пошліть швидко і сповістіть Давидові, кажучи: Не залишайся вночі в пустелі в Аравоті й поспіши перейти, аби часом хто не знищив царя і весь народ, який з ним!
