Elijah said to Elisha, “Stay here; the Lord has sent me to Bethel.”
But Elisha said, “As surely as the Lord lives and as you live, I will not leave you.” So they went down to Bethel.

And Elijah said unto Elisha, Tarry here, I pray thee; for the LORD hath sent me to Bethel. And Elisha said unto him, As the LORD liveth, and as thy soul liveth, I will not leave thee. So they went down to Bethel.

Then Elijah said to Elisha, “Stay here, please, for the Lord has sent me on to Bethel.”
But Elisha said, “As the Lord lives, and as your soul lives, I will not leave you!” So they went down to Bethel. -

И сказал Илия Елисею: останься здесь, ибо Господь посылает меня в Вефиль. Но Елисей сказал: жив Господь и жива душа твоя! не оставлю тебя. И пошли они в Вефиль.

І сказав Ілля до Єлисея: „Сиди тут, бо Госпо́дь послав мене аж до Бет-Елу“. Та Єлисей відказав: „Як живий Господь і жива́ душа твоя, — я не залишу́ тебе!“ І зійшли вони до Бет-Елу.

Илия сказал Елисею:
— Прошу, останься здесь; Господь посылает меня в Вефиль.
Но Елисей сказал:
— Верно, как и то, что жив Господь и жив ты сам — я не оставлю тебя!
И они пошли в Вефиль. -
І сказав Ілля Елісеєві: Перебувай тут, бо Господь мене послав аж у Ветиль. Та Елісей сказав: Нехай живе Господь, і нехай живе твоя душа, не залишу тебе! І вони прийшли до Ветиля.
