When Job’s three friends, Eliphaz the Temanite, Bildad the Shuhite and Zophar the Naamathite, heard about all the troubles that had come upon him, they set out from their homes and met together by agreement to go and sympathize with him and comfort him.

Now when Job's three friends heard of all this evil that was come upon him, they came every one from his own place; Eliphaz the Temanite, and Bildad the Shuhite, and Zophar the Naamathite: for they had made an appointment together to come to mourn with him and to comfort him. -

I почули троє при́ятелів Йо́вових про все те нещастя, що прийшло на нього, і поприхо́дили кожен з місця свого: теманя́нин Еліфа́з, шух'я́нин Бідда́д та наама́тянин Цофа́р. І вмовилися вони прийти ра́зом, щоб похитати головою над ним та поті́шити його.

Когда трое друзей Иова — Элифаз из Темана, Билдад из Шуаха и Цофар из Наамы услышали о постигших его бедах, они отправились в путь, покинув свои дома, и встретились, чтобы идти плакать с ним и утешать его.

Почувши про все зло, яке найшло на нього, троє його друзів прийшли до нього, — кожний з власної країни: Еліфас, цар теманський, Валдад, тиран савхейський, Софар, цар мінейський, і вони прийшли до нього одностайно, щоб його потішити і відвідати.
