Psalm 102^a

A prayer of an afflicted person who has grown weak and pours out a lament before the Lord.

Hear my prayer, Lord;
let my cry for help come to you.

Псалом Давида. Благослови, душе моя, Господа і, уся істото моя, — Ім’я святе Його.

2

Do not hide your face from me
when I am in distress.
Turn your ear to me;
when I call, answer me quickly.

Благослови, душе моя, Господа і не забувай усіх добрих Його нагород.

3

For my days vanish like smoke;
my bones burn like glowing embers.

3

Він прощає всі беззаконня твої, оздоровляє всі твої хвороби.

4

My heart is blighted and withered like grass;
I forget to eat my food.

4

Він визволяє твоє життя від тління, Він вінчає тебе милосердям і щедрістю.

5

In my distress I groan aloud
and am reduced to skin and bones.

Він наповняє твоє бажання добром, і молодість твоя буде оновлена — мов у орла.

I am like a desert owl,
like an owl among the ruins.

Господь виявляє милість і суд усім скривдженим.

I lie awake; I have become
like a bird alone on a roof.

Він відкрив Мойсеєві дороги Свої, а синам Ізраїлевим — бажання Свої.

All day long my enemies taunt me;
those who rail against me use my name as a curse.

Щедрий і милосердний Господь, довготерпеливий і багатомилостивий.

For I eat ashes as my food
and mingle my drink with tears

Не назавжди буде Його гнів, не вічним буде Його обурення.

10

because of your great wrath,
for you have taken me up and thrown me aside.

Він не вчинив нам згідно з нашими гріхами, не відплатив нам за нашими беззаконнями.

11

My days are like the evening shadow;
I wither away like grass.

Бо як небо високо над землею, так Господь непорушно поставив милість Свою над тими, хто боїться Його.

12

But you, Lord, sit enthroned forever;
your renown endures through all generations.

Як віддалений схід від заходу, так віддалив Він наші беззаконня від нас.

13

You will arise and have compassion on Zion,
for it is time to show favor to her;
the appointed time has come.

Як батько милує синів, так Господь виявив милість до тих, які бояться Його.

14

For her stones are dear to your servants;
her very dust moves them to pity.

Адже Йому відомо, із чого ми створені: пам’ятай, що ми — порох!

15

The nations will fear the name of the Lord,
all the kings of the earth will revere your glory.

Людина — її дні, як трава; вона зацвіла, наче польова квітка,

For the Lord will rebuild Zion
and appear in his glory.

однак пронісся вітер над нею — і її більше не буде, і місця її вже не впізнати.

17

He will respond to the prayer of the destitute;
he will not despise their plea.

Господнє ж милосердя від віку й до віку на тих, хто боїться Його, і праведність Його — на синах синів,

18

Let this be written for a future generation,
that a people not yet created may praise the Lord:

18

які зберігають Його завіт і пам’ятають про Його заповіді, щоб виконувати їх.

19

“The Lord looked down from his sanctuary on high,
from heaven he viewed the earth,

19

Господь встановив Свій престол на небі, і Його царство над усім володіє.

20

to hear the groans of the prisoners
and release those condemned to death.”

20

Благословіть Господа, усі ангели Його, міцні силою, — ви, які виконуєте слово Його, прислухаючись до голосу слів Його.

21

So the name of the Lord will be declared in Zion
and his praise in Jerusalem

Благословіть Господа, усі сили Його, слуги Його, що виконуєте волю Його.

when the peoples and the kingdoms
assemble to worship the Lord.
