For the director of music. Of the Sons of Korah. A psalm.

Clap your hands, all you nations;
shout to God with cries of joy.

Пісня. Псалом для синів Корея. Другого дня в тижні.

For the Lord Most High is awesome,
the great King over all the earth.

Великий Господь і вельми прославлений у місті нашого Бога, на Його святій горі,

He subdued nations under us,
peoples under our feet.

добре вкоренився на радість усій землі. Гори Сіонські, північні схили — місто великого царя.

He chose our inheritance for us,
the pride of Jacob, whom he loved.b

У його палацах Бог дає Себе знати, коли заступається за нього.

God has ascended amid shouts of joy,
the Lord amid the sounding of trumpets.

Бо ось царі зібралися, зійшлися разом.

Sing praises to God, sing praises;
sing praises to our King, sing praises.

Та, побачивши це, вони були вражені, збентежилися і похитнулися.

For God is the King of all the earth;
sing to him a psalm of praise.

Там їх охопив трепет, наче біль тієї, яка народжує.

God reigns over the nations;
God is seated on his holy throne.

Буревієм Ти знищиш Тарсійські кораблі.

The nobles of the nations assemble
as the people of the God of Abraham,
for the kingsc of the earth belong to God;
he is greatly exalted.

Те, що ми почули, — саме те й побачили в місті Господа сил, у місті нашого Бога. Бог заснував його навіки.
