I will sing of the Lord’s great love forever;
with my mouth I will make your faithfulness known
through all generations.

I will declare that your love stands firm forever,
that you have established your faithfulness in heaven itself.

Господь, Ты был жилищем нашим испокон веков.

You said, “I have made a covenant with my chosen one,
I have sworn to David my servant,

До сотворенья земли и рождения гор Ты был Богом. Был всегда и пребудешь всегда Богом.

‘I will establish your line forever
and make your throne firm through all generations.’ ”c

В тлен обращая людей, Ты говоришь: "Станьте, сыны человеческие, снова прахом".

The heavens praise your wonders, Lord,
your faithfulness too, in the assembly of the holy ones.

Тысяча лет для Тебя — словно вчерашний день, словно пара часов ночных.

For who in the skies above can compare with the Lord?
Who is like the Lord among the heavenly beings?

Ты сметаешь людей, и они, словно сон, словно трава, что поутру пробилась:

In the council of the holy ones God is greatly feared;
he is more awesome than all who surround him.

Who is like you, Lord God Almighty?
You, Lord, are mighty, and your faithfulness surrounds you.

Нас ярость Твоя поглощает, нас пугает Твой гнев.

You rule over the surging sea;
when its waves mount up, you still them.

Все грехи наши перед Тобою и тайные прегрешения высвечивает свет присутствия Твоего.

You crushed Rahab like one of the slain;
with your strong arm you scattered your enemies.

На нас Ты гневаешься день за днём, наши годы кончаются, словно вздох.

The heavens are yours, and yours also the earth;
you founded the world and all that is in it.

Дней дано нам — семьдесят лет, наиболее сильным — восемьдесят. Переполненные страданием, быстро наши жизни проходят, и мы улетаем.

You created the north and the south;
Tabor and Hermon sing for joy at your name.

Силы гнева Твоего не измерит никто, но гнев Твой столь велик, сколь уваженье, что к Тебе должны мы проявлять.

Your arm is endowed with power;
your hand is strong, your right hand exalted.

Научи нас, за наши короткие дни, сделать мудрыми наши сердца.

Righteousness and justice are the foundation of your throne;
love and faithfulness go before you.

Смягчись, Господи, сколько ещё? К рабам Твоим прояви состраданье.

Blessed are those who have learned to acclaim you,
who walk in the light of your presence, Lord.

Дай нам любовь бесконечную утром, чтобы мы радовались весь день.

They rejoice in your name all day long;
they celebrate your righteousness.

Столько нам радостных дней дай, сколько дал нам печальных, столько лет — сколько бед.

For you are their glory and strength,
and by your favor you exalt our horn.d

Да увидят рабы Твои дело Твоё, и да будет их детям Твоя милость.

Indeed, our shielde belongs to the Lord,
our king to the Holy One of Israel.
