And when the people saw that Moses delayed to come down out of the mount, the people gathered themselves together unto Aaron, and said unto him, Up, make us gods, which shall go before us; for as for this Moses, the man that brought us up out of the land of Egypt, we wot not what is become of him. -

And when the people saw that Moses delayed to come down from the mountain, the people collected together to Aaron, and said to him, Up, make us a god, who will go before us; for this Moses, the man that has brought us up out of the land of Egypt, -- we do not know what is become of him! -

Коли народ побачив, що Мойсей забарився, не сходив з гори, збився він юрбою коло Арона та й каже до нього: «Ану, зроби нам бога, щоб він ішов поперед нас! Бо отой Мойсей, той чоловік, що вивів нас з Єгипетської землі, — не знаємо, що з ним сталося.»

І вбачили люде, що загаявся Мойсей зійти з гори, і згромадились люде до Арона, і мовляли до його: Заходись лишень та пороби нам боги, щоб вони йшли поперед нас! Бо ми не знаємо, що сталось Мойсейові, чоловікові сьому, що вивів нас із Египецької землї. -
І побачив наро́д, що загаявся Мойсей зійти з гори. І зібрався наро́д проти Аарона, та й сказали до нього: „Устань, зроби нам богі́в, що бу́дуть ходити перед нами, бо той Мойсей, муж, що вивів був нас із єгипетського кра́ю, — ми не знаємо, що сталось йому“.

Увидев, что Моисей медлит спускаться с горы, народ собрался вокруг Аарона и сказал:
— Послушай, сделай нам богов, которые пойдут перед нами, потому что мы не знаем, что приключилось с этим Моисеем, выведшим нас из Египта. -
Коли народ побачив, що Мойсей затримався і не сходить з гори, то зібрався народ до Аарона; і вони кажуть йому: Встань, зроби нам богів, які йтимуть перед нами, бо цей чоловік, Мойсей, який вивів нас з Єгипту, — не знаємо, що з ним сталося!

Народ увидел, что прошло уже много времени, а Моисей всё не спускается с горы. Тогда люди собрались вокруг Аарона и сказали ему: "Моисей вывел нас из Египта, но мы не знаем, что с ним случилось, поэтому сделай нам богов, чтобы они шли впереди и вели нас".
