Swarms of living creatures will live wherever the river flows. There will be large numbers of fish, because this water flows there and makes the salt water fresh; so where the river flows everything will live.
І станеться, всяка жива душа, що роїться скрізь, куди прихо́дить той поті́к, буде жити, і буде дуже багато риби, бо ввійшла́ туди та вода, і буде вздоро́влена, і буде жити все, куди про́йде той поті́к.
Fishermen will stand along the shore; from En Gedi to En Eglaim there will be places for spreading nets. The fish will be of many kinds — like the fish of the Mediterranean Sea.
І станеться, стануть при ньому рибаки від Ен-Ґеді й аж до Ен-Еґлаїму; вода буде місцем розтя́гнення не́воду, їхня риба буде за родом своїм, як риба Великого моря, дуже числе́нна.
But the swamps and marshes will not become fresh; they will be left for salt.
Його ж ба́гна та калю́жі його не будуть уздоро́влені, — на сіль вони да́ні.
Fruit trees of all kinds will grow on both banks of the river. Their leaves will not wither, nor will their fruit fail. Every month they will bear fruit, because the water from the sanctuary flows to them. Their fruit will serve for food and their leaves for healing.”
А над пото́ком виросте на його бе́резі з цього й з того боку всяке де́рево їстивне́; не опаде́ його листя, і не переста́не плід його, — кожного місяця буде давати первопло́ди, бо вода його — вона зо святині вихо́дить, і буде плід його на ї́жу, а його листя на лік.
The Boundaries of the Land
This is what the Sovereign Lord says: “These are the boundaries of the land that you will divide among the twelve tribes of Israel as their inheritance, with two portions for Joseph.

You are to divide it equally among them. Because I swore with uplifted hand to give it to your ancestors, this land will become your inheritance.
І пося́дете її як один, так і другий, бо, прирікаючи, підняв Я був руку Свою дати її вашим батька́м, і припаде́ цей край вам у спа́дщину.
“This is to be the boundary of the land:
“On the north side it will run from the Mediterranean Sea by the Hethlon road past Lebo Hamath to Zedad,

А оце границя кра́ю: на півні́чному кінці́ від Великого моря напряме́ць до Хетлону, як іти до Цедаду,
Хамат, Берота, Сівраїм, що між границею Дамаску та між границею Хамату, середу́щий Хацар, що при границі Хавра́ну.
І бу́де границя від моря: Хацар-Енон, границя Дамаску на пі́вніч, і границя Хамату. Це півні́чний кіне́ць.
А схі́дній кінець, з-між Хавра́ну та з-між Дамаску, і з-між Ґілеаду та з-між Ізраїлевого кра́ю — Йорда́н; від границі аж до схі́днього моря відмі́ряєте. Це схі́дній кінець.
“On the south side it will run from Tamar as far as the waters of Meribah Kadesh, then along the Wadi of Egypt to the Mediterranean Sea. This will be the southern boundary.
А півде́нний кінець, на пі́вдень: від Тамару аж до води Мерівот-Кадешу, пото́ку, до Великого моря. Це півде́нний кінець, на пі́вдень.
“On the west side, the Mediterranean Sea will be the boundary to a point opposite Lebo Hamath. This will be the western boundary.
А за́хідній кінець — Велике море, від границі аж навпроти того, де йти на Хамат. Це за́хідній кінець.
“You are to distribute this land among yourselves according to the tribes of Israel.
І поділите цю зе́млю собі, Ізра́їлевим племе́нам.
You are to allot it as an inheritance for yourselves and for the foreigners residing among you and who have children. You are to consider them as native-born Israelites; along with you they are to be allotted an inheritance among the tribes of Israel.
І станеться, поділите її жеребко́м на спа́док собі та чужи́нцям, що ме́шкають серед вас, що породи́ли синів серед вас, і стануть вам, як тубі́льці між синами Ізраїлевими; з вами вони кинуть жеребка́ про спа́док серед Ізраїлевих племе́н.
