The Burnt Offering
The Lord called to Moses and spoke to him from the tent of meeting. He said,
The Lord called to Moses and spoke to him from the tent of meeting. He said,
I кликнув Господь до Мойсея, і промовляв до нього з скинії заповіту, говорячи:
“Speak to the Israelites and say to them: ‘When anyone among you brings an offering to the Lord, bring as your offering an animal from either the herd or the flock.
„Промовляй до Ізраїлевих синів та й скажеш до них: Коли хто з вас принесе́ жертву для Господа зо скотини, то з худоби великої й худоби дрібної принесете вашу жертву.
“ ‘If the offering is a burnt offering from the herd, you are to offer a male without defect. You must present it at the entrance to the tent of meeting so that it will be acceptable to the Lord.
Якщо жертва його — цілопа́лення з худоби великої, то нехай принесе його, самця́ безва́дного; нехай приведе його до скинії заповіту, щоб він був уподобаний перед лицем Господнім.
You are to lay your hand on the head of the burnt offering, and it will be accepted on your behalf to make atonement for you.
І покладе він руку свою на го́лову цілопа́лення, — і буде йому да́но вподо́бання на очи́щення від гріхів його.
You are to slaughter the young bull before the Lord, and then Aaron’s sons the priests shall bring the blood and splash it against the sides of the altar at the entrance to the tent of meeting.
І заріже він ягня перед Господнім лицем. А Ааронові сини, священики, принесуть кров, і покро́плять тією кров'ю на же́ртівника навко́ло, що при вході до скинії заповіту.
You are to skin the burnt offering and cut it into pieces.
І здере він шкуру з жертви цілопа́лення, і розі́тне його на куски його.
The sons of Aaron the priest are to put fire on the altar and arrange wood on the fire.
І дадуть сини священика Аарона огню на жертівника, і покладуть дров на тім огні.
Then Aaron’s sons the priests shall arrange the pieces, including the head and the fat, on the wood that is burning on the altar.
І порозклада́ють Ааронові сини, священики, ті куски, голову та товщ, на дро́вах, що на огні, який на жертівнику.
You are to wash the internal organs and the legs with water, and the priest is to burn all of it on the altar. It is a burnt offering, a food offering, an aroma pleasing to the Lord.
А його ну́трощі та голінки його обмиє водою. І священик усе те спалить на жертівнику, — це цілопа́лення, огняна́ жертва, пахощі любі для Господа.
“ ‘If the offering is a burnt offering from the flock, from either the sheep or the goats, you are to offer a male without defect.
А якщо його жертва з дрібної худо́бини, — з овець або з кіз на цілопалення, то нехай приведе його, безвадного самця́,
You are to slaughter it at the north side of the altar before the Lord, and Aaron’s sons the priests shall splash its blood against the sides of the altar.
і заріже його на боці жертівника на пі́вніч, перед Господнім лицем. І покроплять сини Ааронові, священики, кров'ю його на жертівника навколо.
You are to cut it into pieces, and the priest shall arrange them, including the head and the fat, on the wood that is burning on the altar.
І розі́тне його на куски його, і голову його, і товщ його, а священик порозкладає їх на дро́вах, що на огні, який на жертівнику.

А нутрощі та голінки обмиє водою. І священик принесе все це, та й спалить на жертівнику, — це цілопалення, огняна жертва, пахощі любі для Господа.
“ ‘If the offering to the Lord is a burnt offering of birds, you are to offer a dove or a young pigeon.
А якщо цілопа́лення його — жертва для Господа з пта́ства, то нехай з го́рлиць або з голубенят принесе жертву свою.
The priest shall bring it to the altar, wring off the head and burn it on the altar; its blood shall be drained out on the side of the altar.
І принесе її священик до жертівника, і проб'є йому нігтем великим голову, та й спалить на жертівнику, а кров його буде вилита при стіні жертівника.
І зді́йме його воло в пір'ї його, і кине його при жертівнику на схід на місце по́пелу.
He shall tear it open by the wings, not dividing it completely, and then the priest shall burn it on the wood that is burning on the altar. It is a burnt offering, a food offering, an aroma pleasing to the Lord.
І роздере його між кри́льми його, але не відділить їх. А священик спалить його на жертівнику на дро́вах, що на огні, — воно цілопа́лення, огняна́ жертва, пахощі любі для Господа.
