Then three thousand men from Judah went down to the cave in the rock of Etam and said to Samson, “Don’t you realize that the Philistines are rulers over us? What have you done to us?”
He answered, “I merely did to them what they did to me.”

Then three thousand men of Judah went to the top of the rock Etam, and said to Samson, Knowest thou not that the Philistines are rulers over us? what is this that thou hast done unto us? And he said unto them, As they did unto me, so have I done unto them.

Then three thousand men of Judah went down to the cleft of the rock of Etam, and said to Samson, “Do you not know that the Philistines rule over us? What is this you have done to us?”
And he said to them, “As they did to me, so I have done to them.” -

So 3,000 men of Judah went down to get Samson at the cave in the rock of Etam. They said to Samson, “Don’t you realize the Philistines rule over us? What are you doing to us?”
But Samson replied, “I only did to them what they did to me.” -

Виступило тодї три тисячі чоловіка до Етамської розщілини та й кричали до Самсона: Хиба не знаєш ти, що Филистії над нами панують? Про що ж ти нам таке вдїяв? А він їм відказує: Як вони витворяли зо мною, так і я вдїяв їм. -
І пішли три тисячі люда від Юди до щі́лини скелі Етам. І сказали вони Самсонові: „Чи ти не знав, що над нами панують филисти́мляни? І що́ це ти нам учинив? А він їм сказав: „Як вони зробили мені, так я зробив їм“.

Три тысячи человек из Иудеи пошли к расселине Етамской скалы и сказали Самсону:
— Разве ты не понимаешь, что филистимляне правят нами? Что ты с нами сделал?
Он ответил:
— Я всего лишь отплатил им по заслугам. -
І три тисячі мужів з Юди спустилися до отвору в скалі Ітама. — Хіба ти не знаєш, що над нами панують филистимці, — сказали вони Самсонові, — тож чому це ти нам учинив? А Самсон сказав їм: Так, як зробили нам, так і я зробив їм!
