and David inquired of the Lord, “Shall I pursue this raiding party? Will I overtake them?”
“Pursue them,” he answered. “You will certainly overtake them and succeed in the rescue.”

And David inquired at the LORD, saying, Shall I pursue after this troop? shall I overtake them? And he answered him, Pursue: for thou shalt surely overtake them, and without fail recover all.

So David inquired of the Lord, saying, “Shall I pursue this troop? Shall I overtake them?”
And He answered him, “Pursue, for you shall surely overtake them and without fail recover all.” -

Then David asked the LORD, “Should I chase after this band of raiders? Will I catch them?”
And the LORD told him, “Yes, go after them. You will surely recover everything that was taken from you!” -

И вопросил Давид Господа, говоря: преследовать ли мне это полчище, и догоню ли я их? И сказано ему: преследуй, догонишь и отнимешь.

І Давид спитав Господа: «Чи наздоганяти мені цю орду? Чи я її дожену?» І сказано йому: «Наздоганяй, ти доженеш їх певно та визволиш (бранців).»

І запитав Давид Господа, говорячи: „Чи мені гнатися за тією ордою, чи дожену́ її?“ А Він відказав йому́: „Женися, бо конче дожене́ш, і конче ви́зволиш“.

и Давид спросил Господа:
— Гнаться ли мне за этим войском? Догоню ли я их?
— Гонись за ними, — ответил Он. — Ты непременно догонишь и освободишь. -
І запитав Давид у Господа, кажучи: Чи гнатися мені за цією групою? Чи наздожену я їх? Той відказав йому: Женися, бо ти безсумнівно наздоженеш [1] і неодмінно визволиш [2]їх!
