Praise for God’s Deliverance

Then David spoke to the Lord the words of this song, on the day when the Lord had delivered him from the hand of all his enemies, and from the hand of Saul.

And he said:
“The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer;

"Господь — моя твердыня, моя крепость и мой избавитель.

The God of my strength, in whom I will trust;
My shield and the horn[a] of my salvation,
My stronghold and my refuge;
My Savior, You save me from violence.

Бог мой — моя скала, в которой убежище я нахожу. Бог мой — мой щит, и рог моего спасения. Он — крепость моя, моё убежище. Спаситель мой, ты от безжалостных врагов меня избавил.

4

I will call upon the Lord, who is worthy to be praised;
So shall I be saved from my enemies.

Когда народ смеялся надо мной, я к Господу воззвал. И был я спасён от моих врагов!

“When the waves of death surrounded me,
The floods of ungodliness [b]made me afraid.

Волны смерти грохотали вокруг меня. Поток уносил меня туда, откуда нет возврата.

The sorrows of Sheol surrounded me;
The snares of death confronted me.

Цепи ада опутали меня. И сети смерти были предо мною.

7

In my distress I called upon the Lord,
And cried out to my God;
He heard my voice from His temple,
And my cry entered His ears.

И в бедствии моём воззвал я к Господу о помощи. Я к Богу моему воззвал. Из храма Своего Он голос мой услышал. Дошёл до Его слуха крик мой.

8

“Then the earth shook and trembled;
The foundations of [c]heaven quaked and were shaken,
Because He was angry.

Земля сотряслась и заколебалась, и содрогнулись основания небес, ибо разгневался на них Господь.

9

Smoke went up from His nostrils,
And devouring fire from His mouth;
Coals were kindled by it.

Дым поднялся из Его ноздрей, и истребляющий огонь из уст Его. Искры отлетали от Него.

He bowed the heavens also, and came down
With darkness under His feet.

10

Он раздвинул небеса и спустился. И мрак был под Его ногами.

11

He rode upon a cherub, and flew;
And He [d]was seen upon the wings of the wind.

И полетел Он, сев на херувимов, на крыльях ветра нёсся Он.

12

He made darkness canopies around Him,
Dark waters and thick clouds of the skies.

12

Он мраком покрыл себя, как шатром, и воды облаков собрал Он в грозовую тучу.

13

From the brightness before Him
Coals of fire were kindled.

13

Он так блистал, что разгорались угли огненные.

14

“The Lord thundered from heaven,
And the Most High uttered His voice.

14

И возгремел с небес Господь! Подал Всевышний голос Свой.

15

He sent out arrows and scattered them;
Lightning bolts, and He vanquished them.

15

Он стрелы пустил и разогнал врагов. Он молнией блеснул и в замешательство привёл их.

16

Then the channels of the sea were seen,
The foundations of the world were uncovered,
At the rebuke of the Lord,
At the blast of the breath of His nostrils.

От грозного гласа Господа, от мощного дыхания из Его ноздрей, смогли увидеть мы морское дно, и обнажились основания вселенной.

17

“He sent from above, He took me,
He drew me out of many waters.

Господь простёр с высоты Свои руки и взял меня. Он извлёк меня из вод глубоких.

18

He delivered me from my strong enemy,
From those who hated me;
For they were too strong for me.

18

Он избавил меня от моих сильных врагов. От тех, кто меня ненавидел, кто был меня сильнее.

19

They confronted me in the day of my calamity,
But the Lord was my support.

19

Враги против меня восстали в день моего бедствия. Но Господь был для меня опорой.

20

He also brought me out into a broad place;
He delivered me because He delighted in me.

20

Он вывел меня в безопасное место, и спас меня, ибо Он ко мне благоволит.

21

“The Lord rewarded me according to my righteousness;
According to the cleanness of my hands
He has recompensed me.

Воздал мне Господь по правде моей. Не делал я ничего плохого, и Он вознаградил меня.

22

For I have kept the ways of the Lord,
And have not wickedly departed from my God.

22

Ибо шёл я путём, указанным мне Господом, и не грешил я против Бога моего.

23

For all His judgments were before me;
And as for His statutes, I did not depart from them.

23

Все заповеди помнил я Его, и от Его уставов я не отступал.

24

I was also blameless before Him,
And I kept myself from my iniquity.

24

Я непорочным был пред Ним и от греха остерегался.

25

Therefore the Lord has [e]recompensed me according to my righteousness,
According to [f]my cleanness in His eyes.

25

Господь вознаградил меня. Я поступал правдиво. Я чист был пред Его очами.

26

“With the merciful You will show Yourself merciful;
With a blameless man You will show Yourself blameless;

26

С преданным Ты поступаешь преданно. С простодушным Ты поступаешь простодушно.

27

With the pure You will show Yourself pure;
And with the devious You will show Yourself shrewd.

27

К тем, кто чист, Ты относишься чисто. Но можешь Ты перехитрить самого хитрого и подлого.

28

You will save the humble[g] people;
But Your eyes are on the haughty, that You may bring them down.

28

Господи, Ты спасаешь угнетённых и взором Своим унижаешь надменных.

29

“For You are my lamp, O Lord;
The Lord shall enlighten my darkness.

29

О Господи, Ты — мой светильник. Тьму вокруг меня Господь превращает в свет.

30

For by You I can run against a troop;
By my God I can leap over a wall.

30

С помощью Твоей могу поразить я войско. С Богом моим могу я взойти на стену.

31

As for God, His way is perfect;
The word of the Lord is proven;
He is a shield to all who trust in Him.

31

Путь Бога непорочен. Слово Господа проверено. Щит Он для всех, кто убежище находит в Нём.

32

“For who is God, except the Lord?
And who is a rock, except our God?

32

Нет Бога, кроме Господа. Нет защиты, кроме Бога нашего.

33

[h]God is my strength and power,
And He makes [i]my way perfect.

33

Бог наполняет меня силой, и направляет на верный путь.

34

He makes [j]my feet like the feet of deer,
And sets me on my high places.

34

Он делает ноги мои быстрыми, как ноги оленя. Он на высотах делает меня устойчивым.

35

He teaches my hands [k]to make war,
So that my arms can bend a bow of bronze.

35

Он к битве меня готовит. Он дал мне в руки медный лук.

“You have also given me the shield of Your salvation;
Your gentleness has made me great.

Ты даёшь мне щит Твоей победы. Твоя победа делает меня великим.

37

You enlarged my path under me;
So my feet did not slip.

37

Ты расширяешь подо мной тропу, и не колеблются ноги мои.

“I have pursued my enemies and destroyed them;
Neither did I turn back again till they were destroyed.

Я преследовал моих врагов и поражал их. Не возвращался я назад, пока не разбивал их до конца.

39

And I have destroyed them and wounded them,
So that they could not rise;
They have fallen under my feet.

39

Я разбивал их, и не могли они подняться, и падали под ноги мне.

40

For You have armed me with strength for the battle;
You have [l]subdued under me those who rose against me.

40

Ты дал мне силу для войны. Врагов к ногам моим Ты низлагаешь.

41

You have also [m]given me the necks of my enemies,
So that I destroyed those who hated me.

41

Незащищёнными Ты сделал шеи моих врагов, и я поражал противника.

42

They looked, but there was none to save;
Even to the Lord, but He did not answer them.

42

Они взывали о помощи, но не было Того, Кто спас бы их. Они взывали к Господу, но Он не отвечал им.

43

Then I beat them as fine as the dust of the earth;
I trod them like dirt in the streets,
And I [n]spread them out.

43

Я разбивал их на части, как прах земной. Я топтал их и мял, как уличную грязь.

44

“You have also delivered me from the [o]strivings of my people;
You have kept me as the head of the nations.
A people I have not known shall serve me.

44

Ты спас меня от моих людей, которые восстали против меня. Ты сохранил меня, чтоб быть главой над племенами. Народ, которого не знал я, служил мне.

45

The foreigners submit to me;
As soon as they hear, they obey me.

45

Чужестранцы раболепствуют передо мной. И только услышав обо мне, они мне повинуются.

46

The foreigners fade away,
And [p]come frightened from their hideouts.

46

Они слабеют от страха и, дрожа, выходят из своих убежищ.

47

“The Lord lives!
Blessed be my Rock!
Let God be exalted,
The Rock of my salvation!

47

Жив Господь! Да будет благословенна Твердыня моя! Да будет превознесена Твердыня, меня спасающая.

48

It is God who avenges me,
And subdues the peoples under me;

48

Он — Бог, мстящий врагам моим, Бог, покоряющий мне народы.

49

He delivers me from my enemies.
You also lift me up above those who rise against me;
You have delivered me from the violent man.

49

Ты избавил меня от моих врагов. Ты возвысил меня над восставшими против меня. И от человека жестокого спас Ты меня.

50

Therefore I will give thanks to You, O Lord, among the Gentiles,
And sing praises to Your name.

50

За это буду славить я Тебя среди народов, о Господи. И имя Твоё буду воспевать.

51

“He is the tower of salvation to His king,
And shows mercy to His anointed,
To David and his descendants forevermore.”

Господь даёт Своему царю великие победы. Он оказывает милость Своему помазаннику. Давиду и его потомкам Он будет верен вечно!"
