So Ahab went into his house sullen and displeased because of the word which Naboth the Jezreelite had spoken to him; for he had said, “I will not give you the inheritance of my fathers.” And he lay down on his bed, and turned away his face, and would eat no food.

And Ahab came into his house heavy and displeased because of the word which Naboth the Jezreelite had spoken to him: for he had said, I will not give thee the inheritance of my fathers. And he laid him down upon his bed, and turned away his face, and would eat no bread.

So Ahab went home, sullen and angry because Naboth the Jezreelite had said, “I will not give you the inheritance of my ancestors.” He lay on his bed sulking and refused to eat. -

И пришёл Ахав домой встревоженный и огорчённый тем словом, которое сказал ему Навуфей Изреелитянин, говоря: не отдам тебе наследства отцов моих. И лёг на постель свою, и отворотил лицо своё, и хлеба не ел.

Повернувсь Ахав у свою палату, сумний та сердитий із-за відповіді, що йому дав Навот єзреелій, коли сказав: Не можу відпустити тобі спадщину моїх батьків. Кинувся на ліжко, одвернув обличчя й не хотів нічого їсти.

І ввійшов Ахав до дому свого незадово́лений та гнівни́й через те слово, яке говорив йому їзрееля́нин Наво́т, бо той сказав: „Не дам тобі спа́дщини батьків моїх!“ І ліг він на ліжку своїм, і відвернув своє обличчя, і не їв хліба.

Ахав пошел домой мрачный и разгневанный, потому что Навот из Изрееля сказал: «Я не отдам тебе наследия моих отцов». Он лег в постель, отвернулся и отказывался есть.
