Then Shemaiah the prophet came to Rehoboam and the leaders of Judah, who were gathered together in Jerusalem because of Shishak, and said to them, “Thus says the Lord: ‘You have forsaken Me, and therefore I also have left you in the hand of Shishak.’ ”

Then came Shemaiah the prophet to Rehoboam, and to the princes of Judah, that were gathered together to Jerusalem because of Shishak, and said unto them, Thus saith the LORD, Ye have forsaken me, and therefore have I also left you in the hand of Shishak.

The prophet Shemaiah then met with Rehoboam and Judah’s leaders, who had all fled to Jerusalem because of Shishak. Shemaiah told them, “This is what the LORD says: You have abandoned me, so I am abandoning you to Shishak.”

Тоді пророк Шемая прийшов до Ровоама й до юдейських князів, що зібрались були в Єрусалимі, рятуючися від Шішака, і сказав їм: «Так говорить Господь: Ви покинули мене, за те ж і я вас покидаю в руки Шішакові.»

Тодї прийшов пророк Самей до Робоама й до князїв Юдейських, що зібрались були в Ерусалимі, спасаючись перед Сусакимом, й сказав до їх: Так говорить Господь: Ви покинули мене, за те покидаю й я вас (віддаючи) в руки Сусакимові. -
А пророк Шемая прийшов до Рехав'ама та Юдиних зверхників, що зібралися до Єрусалиму, утікаючи перед Шішаком, та й сказав до них: „Так сказав Госпо́дь: Ви залишили Мене, а тому Я залишив вас і видав у Шішакову руку“!

Пророк Шемая пришел к Ровоаму и к вождям Иудеи, которые собрались в Иерусалиме из-за страха перед Шишаком, и сказал им:
— Так говорит Господь: «Вы оставили Меня, и Я оставлю вас, и отдам в руки Шишаку». -
Пророк Самея прийшов до Ровоама і до володарів Юди, які були зібрані в Єрусалимі через наступ Сусакіма, і сказав їм: Так промовив Господь: Ви покинули Мене, то і Я залишу вас у руці Сусакіма!
