A Plea for Relief from Persecutors

A Contemplation[a] of David. A Prayer when he was in the cave.

I cry out to the Lord with my voice;
With my voice to the Lord I make my supplication.

Псалом Давида.
[1] Господи, услышь молитву мою
и внемли моим молениям.
По Своей верности и праведности
ответь мне.

I pour out my complaint before Him;
I declare before Him my trouble.

Со слугой Своим тяжбы не начинай,
потому что никто из живущих не оправдается перед Тобой.

When my spirit [b]was overwhelmed within me,
Then You knew my path.
In the way in which I walk
They have secretly set a snare for me.

Преследует меня враг,
жизнь мою придавил к земле;
принуждает меня жить во тьме,
как давно умерших.

Look on my right hand and see,
For there is no one who acknowledges me;
Refuge has failed me;
No one cares for my soul.

Я пал духом, сердце во мне онемело.

I cried out to You, O Lord:
I said, “You are my refuge,
My portion in the land of the living.

размышляю о всех делах Твоих,
думаю о том, что сделали руки Твои.

[c]Attend to my cry,
For I am brought very low;
Deliver me from my persecutors,
For they are stronger than I.

Я простираю руки мои к Тебе;
душа моя жаждет Тебя, как высохшая земля.

Bring my soul out of prison,
That I may praise Your name;
The righteous shall surround me,
For You shall deal bountifully with me.”

Поспеши, ответь мне, Господи;
дух мой изнемогает.
Не скрывай от меня Своего лица,
иначе я уподоблюсь тем, кто нисходит в пропасть.
