The Character of Those Who May Dwell with the Lord

A Psalm of David.

Lord, who may [a]abide in Your tabernacle?
Who may dwell in Your holy hill?

Песнь Давида. Храни меня, Боже, ибо я на Тебя уповаю.

He who walks uprightly,
And works righteousness,
And speaks the truth in his heart;

Я сказал Господу: Ты — Господь мой; блага мои Тебе не нужны.

He who does not backbite with his tongue,
Nor does evil to his neighbor,
Nor does he [b]take up a reproach against his friend;

К святым, которые на земле, и к дивным Твоим — к ним всё желание моё.

In whose eyes a vile person is despised,
But he honors those who fear the Lord;
He who swears to his own hurt and does not change;

Пусть умножаются скорби у тех, которые текут к богу чужому; я не возлию кровавых возлияний их и не помяну имён их устами моими.

He who does not put out his money at usury,
Nor does he take a bribe against the innocent.
He who does these things shall never be moved.

Господь есть часть наследия моего и чаши моей. Ты держишь жребий мой.
