God is our refuge and strength,
A[a] very present help in trouble.

Therefore we will not fear,
Even though the earth be removed,
And though the mountains be carried into the [b]midst of the sea;

Тому не злякаємось, хоч би земля зворушилась і гори захитались серед моря.

Though its waters roar and be troubled,
Though the mountains shake with its swelling. Selah

Хоч би ревіли і пінились поводї його, гори тряслись від його досади.

There is a river whose streams shall make glad the city of God,
The holy place of the [c]tabernacle of the Most High.

Ріка — потоки її звеселяють город Божий, сьвяте місце домівок Найвисшого.

God is in the midst of her, she shall not be [d]moved;
God shall help her, just [e]at the break of dawn.

Бог серед него, він не захитається; Бог допоможе йому, як настане ранок.

The nations raged, the kingdoms were moved;
He uttered His voice, the earth melted.

Заворушились народи, захитались царства; підняв він свій голос — земля розтопилась.

The Lord of hosts is with us;
The God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah

Господь сил небесних з нами, висока твердиня наша Бог Якова.

Come, behold the works of the Lord,
Who has made desolations in the earth.

He makes wars cease to the end of the earth;
He breaks the bow and cuts the spear in two;
He burns the chariot in the fire.

Як смирить брань аж до краю землї, ломить лука, торощить спису, палить огнем колесницї!

Be still, and know that I am God;
I will be exalted among the nations,
I will be exalted in the earth!

Вгамуйтесь і пізнайте, що я Бог! Я вознесуся між народами, вознесуся на землї!
